Daocheng Yading Scenic Area

Children's tickets: Free for children under 6 years old; half price for children aged 6-18 or over 1.3 meters tall.

It is recommended to book 1-3 days in advance, and 30 days in advance during peak seasons (such as National Day).

Daily limit of 15,000 people

Real-name reservation is required; no tickets will be sold on-site.

Exchange notice: Foreign passport holders / Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan travel permits are required to exchange tickets for park entry at the visitor center.

The scenic area has a high altitude (the highest point is 4,700 meters), so it is essential to bring warm clothing and medication for altitude sickness.

A sightseeing bus ticket is a must (the distance from the scenic area entrance to the attraction is far).

Extended tours require good physical fitness, and it is recommended to acclimatize to the high-altitude environment in advance.

Shangri-La Town, Daocheng County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province

Airplane: Daocheng Yading Airport, then transfer to the scenic bus (approximately 1 hour).

Bus: Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station → Daocheng, approximately 2 days (overnight stay required in Kangding or Yajiang).

Self-driving: Chengdu → Ya'an → Kangding → Xinduqiao → Litang → Daocheng, approximately 700 kilometers.
