Play and Sing Like a Pro - Smart Guitar workshop

I thoroughly enjoyed the Play and Sing Like a Pro – Smart Guitar Workshop today. It was definitely not boring at all—in fact, the 5-hour workshop felt too short because it was so much fun and engaging! Both teachers, Sheng Li and Karyn, taught in a very enjoyable and interactive way, making the learning experience interesting and easy to follow. The entire workshop was filled with positive energy, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I would definitely recommend this workshop to my friends and encourage them to come and experience it for themselves. Highly recommended!

I truly enjoyed the session—especially the hands-on practice with the instrument and the opportunity to form groups with new people to play a song together. It made the whole experience both fun and meaningful. Both instructors, Sheng Li and Karyn, were incredibly jovial and approachable, which created such a welcoming learning environment. Senior Jess was also very supportive and guided us patiently along the way. The workshop on 2 May was really well organised. Special thanks to the friendly instructors, Sheng Li & Karyn, for being so patient & easy to approach throughout the session. The learning didn’t just stop after the worksho, they continued to keep in close contact with all the participants, creating a supportive space for us to keep learning & improving together. And of course, the pizzas during break time were super yummy too 😆

a fun workshop for all ages, the organisers are so cool that they actually bring all strangers together to learn and have fun. and this is not the end of the learning journey, they do have weekly session for all to mingle and continue building connections.

it was an interesting and enjoyable workshop for newbies like me. Having zero background in music, the workshop was paced well. The theory and practical parts were also well organised and fun. Thank you Sheng Li and Karyn for the coaching as well as the food provided.

I am happy that music courses are accessible thanks to SG Culture Pass! Managed to learn a bit more of a new instrument, and the lessons by instructors Karyn and Sheng Li were simple to follow, for beginners and musicians. After this experience, they continued to follow up, encouraging more musical interactions with everyone! Amazing facilitators Li Sheng and Karyn. Breaking down all the details into small parts. Ensuring participants who have zero musical instrument knowledge knows how to read, apply the chords to play on the smart guitar and sing like a Pro. Had lots of fun at todays session. Highly recommended to those who love to play guitar but keep failing to get it with this smart guitar session by them.

Their vibes made it feel like such a safe and comfortable space to learn and just be yourself. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves music or has always wanted to pick up an instrument but didn’t know where to start.
