Millennium intangible cultural heritage passed down through living tradition, showcasing Quanzhou's ancient charm and craftsmanship through fingertips

Come to Quanzhou for a millennium intangible cultural heritage encounter at your fingertips

At the Quanzhou String Puppet Show Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Hall, you can witness the magic of "string puppets" firsthand: with a gentle twist of the strings, the puppets raise their eyebrows, dance their sleeves, and wield spears, vividly portraying the joys and sorrows of ancient plays. Here are humorous clowns, majestic generals, exquisite costumes embroidered with Minnan craftsmanship, and landscape backdrops that highlight the ancient charm.

You can watch inheritors manipulate more than ten strings to make puppets perform exquisite actions like pouring tea and sword dancing; you can also personally experience the fun of "string pulling" and unlock the fingertip code of intangible cultural heritage skills. In the ancient house teahouse, red lanterns sway, tea fragrance accompanies the sound of opera, and the laughter of old artists and young audiences blends into the Minnan atmosphere.

From the market theaters of the Song Dynasty to today's living experience halls, this art of "giving puppets a soul" is waiting for you to discover in its vibrant form. Come here to touch the warmth of a millennium of intangible cultural heritage and store the cultural essence of Minnan in your memory.
