What To Expect

Over a quarter (or 25,000!) of Australia's fur seals reside on Seal Rocks, a rocky outcrop on the western end of Phillip Island. On this eco boat tour, your quiet boat will skim across the water to reach this colony, which on any given day will have up to 8,000 seals playing in the water! This is truly a rare sight of wildlife living in their natural habitat, and an exciting experience for all nature lovers. After the seal viewing, your captain will take you to the "pirates cave" which is hidden at the base of Nobbies Rock formation and only visible from the water. Here you can also see the jagged cliff over hang and the coastal boardwalk. Before heading back in time for the penguin parade you'll have time to check out the Cat Bay National Surfing Reserve!

Enjoyed the seal rocks. Had fun on the boat ride with the huge waves

This tour was a disappointing one. I’ve paid AUD80 x 4 pax for the tour to seal rock but it was cancelled due to heavy winds and waves (cancellation was updated on the day itself 23/9/2018) which was too late to change date because we’ve rented car and drove all the way from Melbourne city to Philip island. They then switch our tour to Cape Woolamai, which I found out later that only cost AUD28 per pax. It was okay to switch due to unfavourable condition to tour the seal rock but I think that reasonable compensation or refund should be made as AUD 80 and AUD 28 is quite a big difference. I hope that klook can look into this matter and also provide solutions to the future customers as well.

The speedboat was fun. However due to bad weather conditions, we were not able to visit seal rock. We went to Cape Woolamai instead. Quite a pity.

Awesome experience to see the seals + we had sightings of 2 immigrating whales! Easy to book & great deal through KLOOK. No issues encountered with the tour operators. Pleasant & hassle free experience, will definitely use KLOOK on my next holiday trip!

we were not given the freebies indicated, but the boat ride was nice

Fuss-free entry to the boat, and you'll get to see tons of seals near your boat as they are very accustomed to seeing humans and boats. The boat ride can be quite rocky, and the driver will take you for a spin when possible. So if you're seasick, do remember to take your pills.

We missed this tour unfortunately due to some delays in our tours before this, and had to have the money forfeited.
