What to expect
- "Dalí x Old Municipal Government: Departure" will be grandly unveiled on November 11, 2025, at the Bund Old Municipal Government, with the exhibition lasting until March 10, 2026.
- When dreams and reality converge in the urban fabric, surrealist master Salvador Dalí is about to open a new chapter in this century-old building in Shanghai. From melting clocks to flowing forms, Dalí's fantasy world will resonate with the historical space of the Bund. The exhibition, entitled "Departure", not only pays tribute to the endless exploration of Dalí's art, but also allows the Old Municipal Government, a building that carries the city's memory, to set off again in the light and shadow of art.
- This exhibition will bring together more than 150 sculptures, jewelry, glass and print masterpieces, including many rare exhibits signed by Dalí himself and on display in China for the first time. In the space of century-old architecture, dreams and reality, history and the present intertwine into an artistic and urban "double departure."
