I had a wonderful time. The chef kindly guided us through a market tour and led the cooking class, which was great. We didn't actually buy anything at the market; instead, the ingredients were sourced from the hotel, which turned out to be much more hygienic and preferable. There was about a one-hour gap between the market tour and the class, which felt a bit awkward to fill, so that was slightly disappointing. However, since it was a cooking class run by the hotel, it was exceptionally clean and sanitary, and the food was delicious.
We had a lovely experience with Chef Trung! He explained everything in detail and was very helpful. The food was delicious. Thank you so much.
Chef Thuy taught us so well, so it was a lot of fun to make. I took a lot of pictures, but it's a shame I couldn't get them.
Riding around the market by cyclo with the chef was so much fun! They explained all the various things sold at the market in detail. All the food we made in the cooking class was delicious, and the chef was kind and had a great sense. Because it was at the Sheraton, it was great to cook cleanly in a pleasant space. I want to come again!
it was fun and all, and the chef is a nice guy. But, after the market tour we were told to just wait, and we had no idea what we were waiting for. It turns out the actually cooking class didn't start until 10 am and we had been waiting since 9 am right after we came back from the market. I don't mind so much the bad planning as the waiting we had to do over an hour without any notice about it. Better communication and better planning are highly advised
