  • Unlike the monotonous studio spaces, Jin Yaoji's entire venue is transformed from an ancient building with a 400-year history. The space of more than 2,000 square meters features dozens of meticulously crafted scene sets: some replicate the magnificent pillars of the Han and Tang palaces, some build the misty corridors of the Jiangnan water towns, and some restore the elegant courtyards of the Jin merchant mansions. Each scene is restored with 1:1 details, from the large screen ornaments to the small tea sets and copper locks, all revealing reverence for antiquity.
  • Jin Yaoji's costume room houses more than 200 pieces of high-end custom costumes, from the colorful and dark-patterned brocade palace costumes to the gold-embroidered礼服 (ceremonial dresses), and then to the Jin merchant-style embroidered袄裙 (padded jackets and skirts). Each piece is made of genuine fabrics with fine workmanship, and the stitches are full of craftsman's feelings. What's more intimate is that all the costumes are properly stored in dust-proof bags after disinfection, and the styles will be updated from time to time. Whether it is the lively披帛 (shawls) of the Western Regions Hu Ji or the simple and elegant襦裙 (short jackets and long skirts) of the ladies, you can find your favorite choice.
  • The professional makeup team knows better how to make "classical beauty" fit your unique temperament. In the independent dressing room, the stylists will first carefully communicate your face shape, skin tone, and style preferences, and then tailor the makeup according to the shooting theme—if you prefer Qingya, they will outline slender willow-leaf eyebrows and dot light绛 (crimson) lip color; if you want to take the bright and beautiful route, they will halo the緋紅 (scarlet) blush and embellish it with pearl and jade hair accessories. They know the secret of "restoring without copying" and, while replicating the essence of ancient makeup, always retain your personal characteristics, so that the classical artistic conception of "倭堕髻 (Woduo bun) on the head and bright moon beads in the ears" truly grows in your temperament.
