09:30-11:30 [Hunan Museum] – Home to rare treasures from world’s top ten ancient tombs, and a first-class national museum (90-minute in-depth tour with professional guide and wireless headsets; closed on Mondays; alternative visit to the “Changsha Bamboo Slips Museum,” which is equally fascinating!) “Special Note: Please provide a list of names seven days in advance. If tickets for the basic exhibition at the Hunan Museum are unavailable, the visit will be replaced with a tour of the [Former Site of the CPC Hunan District Committee].”

12:30-13:30 [Huo Gong Dian], a century-old restaurant – Experience the "spicy world" of Hunan cuisine.

14:00-14:30 Stroll through [Hunan University] – A university without walls.

14:30-15:30 [Yuelu Academy] – One of the four great academies, a journey of wisdom in a thousand-year-old institution (approximately 60 minutes with professional guide and wireless headsets).

15:30-16:00 [Aiwan Pavilion] – One of China's four famous pavilions, a romantic encounter with poetry and history (approximately 30-minute visit).

16:30-18:30 [Orange Isle] – Asia's largest urban inland island, located in the heart of the Xiang River, the mother river of Hunan (approximately 120 minutes).
