Depart from Manchester city center at 8:30 in the morning, take a steam train, take a boat trip to Lake Windermere, and visit lakeside towns such as Ambleside and Bowness. Return to Manchester at approximately 18:30 in the evening. Depart from Manchester city center at 08:30 in the morning for a classic Lake District day trip, enjoying the most magnificent natural scenery and pastoral landscapes of Northwest England along the way. The Lake District National Park is the largest national park in the UK, with fourteen lakes and rolling hills, the most famous of which is Lake Windermere.
[Retro Steam Train] — Take a retro steam train (limited to March–October) and travel along the winding railway through mountains, forests, and lakesides to experience the nostalgic British style. Accompanied by the whistle and steam mist, it is like walking into a scene from “Harry Potter”. The one-way journey is about 15 minutes, and you can enjoy picturesque scenery of valleys and lakesides outside the window.
[Bowness-on-Windermere] — Arrive at Bowness-on-Windermere on the south bank of Lake Windermere, one of the liveliest and most charming towns in the Lake District. The ancient town block, which originated in the 15th century, exudes a leisurely and romantic atmosphere. The town is full of cafes, handmade shops, and souvenir shops, perfect for strolling.
[The World of Beatrix Potter] — The former residence and museum of Beatrix Potter, the author of the world-famous fairy tale “The Tale of Peter Rabbit,” is located in the center of Bowness-on-Windermere. Here, people will find all the beautiful, romantic, dreamy, and innocent moments. Please note: The Peter Rabbit Museum and Garden will be closed from January 12 to February 2, 2026.
[Lake Windermere Cruise] — Enjoy a cruise on the tranquil Lake Windermere, overlooking the rolling hills and lakeside villas. The fresh lake breeze and reflected clouds create the purest British picture, which is the best way to experience the beauty of the Lake District.
[Ambleside and Grasmere] — Finally, go to Ambleside and Grasmere. Ancient stone houses, streams, and winding streets interweave a poetic landscape that makes people linger.
Return to Manchester city center at approximately 18:30 in the evening, ending this unforgettable Lake District and fairytale tour.

[Included] Vehicle fee: A comfortable 5-seater car will be used for 3 people or less; a 7-9 seater commercial vehicle will be used for 4-6 people. In addition to the car fare, it also includes 10 hours of service from a Chinese-speaking driver/guide.

[Children's Policy]
- Chartered vehicles are priced uniformly, regardless of adults or children, and are charged based on the number of people.
- Teenagers and children (those under 16 years of age) cannot make reservations alone and must be accompanied by at least one adult.
- According to UK traffic regulations, children shorter than 135 cm must purchase a child safety seat; children taller than 135 cm or who are 12 years old or older do not need to use a child safety seat. If there are children under 12 years old or shorter than 135 cm traveling with you, please place your order directly from the official website. We apologize for the inconvenience.
[Itinerary]
- All itineraries will depart on time. If passengers do not show up on time, they will be regarded as a "No Show", and no rescheduling or refunds will be given.
- In the event of major local events, temporary closures of attractions, or other force majeure factors, the itinerary may be adjusted or some attractions may be changed to exterior visits, subject to the arrangements of the driver/guide on the day.
