This pass was very easy to use for both the subway and the yurikamome line! we used this pass to go to the Statue of Liberty and the shops near there but there were many stops to choose from. I would recommend this pass to anyone who wants to go out that way
we planned a day in odaba. it is a super great deal to book this voucher. we even used the metro pass for the next day cuz u can use it for 24hours
The QR code is only visible in the app and cannot be shared, which is inconvenient. Every time my husband and I enter, we have to go through the same gate one by one. This process makes him feel like a child as I need to use my phone to scan the QR code for him. The metro ticket process is more complex; one must first redeem a small paper ticket at the metro station as their system cannot recognize the QR code.
It's convenient to buy, and it seems like it would be easy to use since you don't need to get a physical card and can just scan from your phone. But in reality, it's a little inconvenient because saved or screenshotted images don't scan. You have to use the internet to open it from the email for it to scan. But overall, buying in advance is more convenient and gives you peace of mind.
If you think you'll use the Tokyo subway more than 3 times, it's worth buying a pass. Transfers were easy and convenient.
Very easy to exchange to a physical ticket, however some station might be confusing to exchange as there are JR machines which can't be use.
