What to expect
The tour begins at 9:00 at the Adventureshop office, where each rider is provided with a suitable bike and helmet, with e-bikes available on request. The guide also carries space for wine purchases during the trip. The experience starts with a guided historic tour of Stellenbosch, visiting notable sites in town before cycling toward the scenic Jonkershoek Valley. . Riders enjoy a picturesque route through oak and poplar forests leading to a wine estate set in the valley. The journey continues with a stop at another wine estate featuring beautiful grounds and historic Cape Dutch architecture. Here, guests enjoy a cellar tour followed by a unique chocolate and wine pairing. The tour concludes with a cycle back through Stellenbosch University, finishing at the Adventureshop office.
