Rent Hanbok with hair styling and photoshoot at Hanboknam Jeonju

This is my third time wearing a Hanbok in Korea. It is better to try it in Gyeonggijeon Shrine than Gyeongbokgung Palace because its lesser crowded there. Though a one staff was not that friendly but overall this is highly recommended!

Wonderful experience renting a hanbok here! The selection was beautiful and everything was very well organized. J (박지혜) was incredibly kind and helpful—she made the whole process easy and fun, and helped me choose a hanbok that I absolutely loved. The hairstyle she did for me was beautiful and lasted perfectly the entire time of the rental. The staff was professional and the hanboks were in excellent condition. Highly recommended if you want a great hanbok experience!

The sales assistants were very friendly, kind, and efficient. They speak some English, and we understood each other well. They have a great variety of clothing and advise you on which garments match. You can choose from five hairstyles that don't take long to do and look great, even with curly hair. They also provide handbags and footwear. Additionally, they have lockers and changing rooms. I definitely recommend it!

My aunt's service attitude is sincere. The store clerk is also smiling and considerate. When we go to the store, we will give the order number and take us to choose the hanbok we like. The store clerk will help us put it on. Basic hairstyle and braiding are free, but the accessories on the head will cost an additional 3,000 won. , there are three hairstyles you can choose the one you like. This time I chose the theme Hanbok, which was very beautiful for 2.5 hours. You can also change it to a high-end Hanbok at a higher price.

Good selection of hanboks. Staff were so helpful and assisted me to wear the hanbok. I availed of the hairstyle onsite and imo was so sweet. I told her that I’m a fan of the pajeon and makgeoli pairing and she then recommended me a place. I also shared her the photos I took and the caricature and she was so happy and even thank me for this.

Travel back in time and enjoy seeing the sights of Hanok Village dressed in traditional hanbok. We decided last minute to rent hanboks at Hanboknam where they were welcoming, helpful, and fast. After putting our belongings in a locker we headed up the stairs to choose hanbok from their basic package. Don’t let the word basic fool you, they are stunning and lighter than expected. We were assisted by a knowledgeable staff worker. She asked us to choose the skirt and she picked complementary jackets according to our size. This was helpful. When we went back downstairs they offered to braid our hair or choose from a different style. You have the option to upgrade as needed. We loved our handbags, an extra but needed element. This is a great place to rent hanbok and enjoy Hanok Village.

This was our first experience renting a Hanbok, and it was truly great! The studio is easy to find, and everything was very straightforward. The selection was large, and there's definitely something for everyone's taste! The ladies were very nice, and communication was easy and uncomplicated. I can definitely recommend this studio!

Renting a hanbok here was a seamless and fun experience! It was located at a very central part of Jeonju’s Hanok Village. The storeowners were friendly and efficient in dressing us up. Additional accessories were also reasonably priced (traditional hats, purses, premium hairstyles). We enjoyed picking our hanboks and walking around the village 😊

The location of the store is very easy to find ~ the service staff are also very friendly. Although I chose the basic hanbok ~ there are many options (I highly recommend spending more money on hair styling) and the time is sufficient, but it is recommended not to wear your own clothes. It's too thick. If you don't take off your clothes, you'll look swollen when you put on the hanbok, but it's still pretty.

The place was very easy to find and they were opened before their official opening hours of 9.30am when we arrived at 9.15am. Staff was very experienced and helped us choose our lovely and matching hanboks. There were many choices for themed hanboks which is the minimum we would propose. We wore our own track shoes and we did not need to remove any clothings. But if you want your hanbok to look nicer and if the weather is warm enough, it might be better to wear sleeveless and white tops or wear the hanbok over yoir underwears. We rented 2.5h and it was barely sufficient time. The store was very trusting and not sticky on the return time but we returned them on time. They charged krw2k to do up the hair with lovely accessories, really worthwhile. Also additional cost for shoes, bags or hats. Overall we highly recommended renting hanbok from jeonju Hanboknam as jeonju is lovely with traditional hanoks as backgrounds.
