Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort Day Use in Cebu

I have nothing to say but wow. We had an ok weather. Even if the start of the day was a bit rainy it was still good. We arrived at 10 am because we missed the 8am boat but generally it was a good trip. The people are nice. The ambiance is great. The food was great. The place was big. Even the guests were wonderful. It was just me and my 9-year old son and we still got to enjoy it together. And the very reason I went there was because of the snorkeling experience. We had a guide named kuya John2x and he was great he also took videos of us and let us charge our phone in the dive shop after the swim because my phone’battery got really low after the dive. Definitely we will come back here for another year with the whole family and we would check in the next time.

Really, I mean REALLY good view from our room. We made plans to wake up before sunrise to walk along the beach and enjoy the early morning. Only to find out that we can enjoy the sunrise in the comfort of our room, we just parted the black out curtains to enjoy the sea view and sunrise. Highly recommended!

I had a amazing day at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, stunning view, clean, delicious food and great staff. So lucky on my Oslob solo tour, i got a buffet on weekday pass. Thank you Klook for the affordable price and the chance to visit the resort. it’s a must visit. I was glad I visited Oslob

The day pass was worth it! Lots of activities to do and the set lunch (because it's a weekday) was satisfying and would leave you full. I suggest you take the first trip and leave on the last, in order to maximize the time for the activites. Important to note: if you want to avail the breafast buffet it'd be add'l 850/pax, towel is 100/pax, and snorkeling/ diving is not included so you'd have to pay extra if you want to avail. Overall, the trip was superb 🫶

Value for money. The infinity pool was my favorite. Snorkeling too, the corals and fishes were vibrant. You can also kayak and catch fishes. The sandbar was pretty but was crowded. Buffet lunch was good. :)

Overall, we had a blast. Staff got the best service and all smiles throughout. Boat trip is just 10 mins one way and the lunch buffet during weekend is fantastic. I cannot emphasize enough that you cannot explore the island in a day. But this day-use trip is a good start to know what's available in Sumilon Island Resort. Beach is pristine with white sands. We love Cebu and in God's grace, we would like to come back. They have plenty of pools but we recommend start with the infinity pool as it is available for use only until 12 noon. Beach towels are available. You can hike the Yamashita cave, play table tennis, relax in the beach. You can do kayak as well. Seniors and toddler friendly. They are organized. You can order drinks in the resort apart from lunch buffet inclusions. There are rides available if you want to go to the other side - sandbar. Water is clear with turquoise hue. We brought our own snorkeling gears but I think they have available ones for rent too. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite beach of all time. The water is very clean bcoz i haven't experienced skin rashes after taking a dip in the beach 😍

Cheaper to book through Klook. Spent nearly 6 hours in the resort, mainly to take photos and visit the marine sanctuary (additional P500). We skipped the kayaking and sandbar as the weather was too hot. Being a non-swimmer snorkeling in the marine sanctuary, I felt very relaxed as I hang on to the float with the skillful diver pulling the rope attached to it and taking us to the deep part where the corals were like a kingdom. It is worth paying the diver for his endurance and efforts as he pointed to us some species along the way and took photos for us. However, I think paying RM200+ for the Day Pass itself is rather expensive as this covers mainly for the buffet lunch, boat transfers, sandbar, pool, kayaking and bathing facilities. Additional payment is required for other activities.

So glad to have visited this beautiful paradise. Very family friendly, and staff are really helpful. will definitely come back again!

I was solo-traveling. It was nice to have people check-up on me and ask if I wanted to do any of the activities. or them recommending me things to do. I had a memorable experience playing chess with one of the staff on the playground ! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The buffet food is actually very good! It is seasoned very well. I like the cucumber lemonade a lot. It was my first time snorkeling- honestly I was having trouble breathing bc I don’t know how to breathe when swimming. I asked to go back in land and the guide listened to me. They even give you life jacket for the infinity pool! There are so many activities and it is so wonderful to have many options! The staff even offer to help take pictures! Like the reviews said, it is hassle free. Also, the last ferry is actually at 4:30 PM. It varies depending on how many guests there are because everyone might not fit.
