Hon Tam Island Mud Bath Experience in Nha Trang

The transfer was easy to find, you really need to arrive 10-15 minutes in advance because the boats leave exactly on schedule. I really liked the lunch, the food was varied, and the view from the cafe-dining room was very beautiful. The mud bath experience itself is questionable. It turned out that you can only enter the area with the baths once, this is not written anywhere and the staff doesn't say anything. But the mud is good, there are many showers nearby, and the location is beautiful. If you are not going for the beautiful views, swimming pools, and deck chairs on the beach of a clean sea, but specifically for the mud baths, then it is better to either plan another place or stay at the mud location for as long as possible :))

experience: better than I expected, boat was on time, safe, clear and nice, just 7-10 minutes from the main land. beach are clean and beautiful, there are lifeguard in there too. Mud bath is good experience, having many baths for one person or up to a group (I guess about 7-8 people)

Booking through Klook is about 150,000 VND cheaper per person than buying directly. The ticket includes access to all mud bath, mineral bath, beach, and swimming pool facilities. The only downside is that the beach is quite rocky, which can be a bit uncomfortable for your feet. The restrooms are clean, and the buffet food is decent with a good variety of dishes.

experience: after watching many reviews about explore the Hon Tam island , I would like to recommend you the itinerary like this: you should come to the island at 8am, enjoy your beach time then at 9:30 or 10 AM you can have the mud bath, after 20 minutes you can go to the mineral springs. That time the mud bath was less crowded, you can have mud bath immediately without have a line. End up with buffet for lunch is perfect ( I didn’t have buffet in there so I will enjoy more time on the beach). Staff are friendly and helpful. There are many water sports in there too.

The price was reasonable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the mud baths, beach, pool, and lunch buffet.

First, the good news is that the product itself is fine. It's a two-in-one deal: you get to explore Hon Tam Island and wash away your sweat with a mud bath. The downside is that Klook's product description is terribly inadequate. They're selling a mud bath + round-trip speedboat package but don't provide a boat schedule, only a general operating time. This led to some trial and error. I assumed there would be boats every hour and arrived a little after 12 PM, only to find the next boat wasn't until 2 PM, so I had to wait at Starbucks for about an hour and 50 minutes. Also, the speedboat ticket exchange counter is the furthest right window at the Vinpearl ticket office. Once you're there, the staff will guide you. I didn't know this and wasted a lot of time trying to find it after going into the hotel. If they had just provided information like the photo I uploaded, there would have been no need to wander around. It's truly pathetic who designed this product banner.

Honestly, I was a little confused at first because I didn't receive any contact after purchasing this. It would have been much better if the product description had mentioned that you just need to go to the pier, present your ticket at the Hon Tam Resort counter, and then you don't have to worry about anything else. When you present your ticket at the pier, you'll be directed to a waiting area specifically for Hon Tam Resort guests, and when it's time to board the boat, a staff member will come to pick you up and take you to the boat. I went at 8 AM, and everything was just opening up, so it was very quiet and relaxing. The resort staff were also all very friendly. (I'm not sure how crowded it gets in the afternoon.) Anyway, if you're looking to escape the noise of Nha Trang for a while, and if you don't want to go snorkeling and just want to fully enjoy the resort, then this is a good option. You can spend the whole day swimming (the pool has a DJ playing music, so it's not a quiet atmosphere), playing on the beach (the beach wasn't very clean; there were plastic bags lying around; kayaking is included in the ticket; there are a few fish), and eating at the resort's restaurant with a great view. It was great. I think going early in the morning when there weren't many people also played a part in that.

Very good, there's even a private guide to the train station, and the ticket price is much cheaper than other agencies.
