DAMDA Private Korean Bath & Body Scrub Experience | Hongdae Seoul

So easy to book and great communication. I booked the special treatment for the day after my long plane ride to Korea and it was the best decision. I felt so relaxed and taken care of, and I’m convinced it helped with my jet lag! I would absolutely book again!

I had the best time! This was completely different from any body scrub I've had before. It was in a private room, with a lovely atmosphere, the receptionist was very polite, and the place was clean. There were air laundry lockers, and the makeup room after the treatment had almost everything you'd need, like hair irons. The bathtub before the scrub was also clean, and they even offer tea. And the treatment itself was perfect, with just the right amount of pressure, and very thorough. The technician only spoke Korean (but the receptionist spoke Japanese), but I was able to communicate with gestures without any problems. The location is probably closer to Sinchon than Hongdae. Anyway, since they're open for long hours, I'll definitely go again when I arrive or before I leave the country next time! It's such a great salon that I almost don't want to tell anyone about it, but I'd be sad if it closed down, so I'm promoting it on Instagram and other platforms. The service is amazing for the price. Oh, it's a little hard to find the entrance. There's a sign, but I couldn't figure out which apartment number to press on the auto-lock. I just guessed.

I checked for availability that day and booked the basic plan since there was an opening. First of all, I was relieved because the place was clean and stylish ☺️. The treatment in the private room was thorough and fulfilling, which was wonderful ✨. I was also impressed with the excellent service and facilities ✨. The atmosphere inside was great, and I thought 83,000 won (¥7,495 with the reservation discount) for this service was a great value ✨. There weren't any Japanese descriptions in the store, but the staff kindly provided guidance and explanations using a translator 😊. I would like to use it again when I want to refresh myself 🛀🫧.

it was very relaxing and warm. the therapist is really kind and always ask me if im comfortable, and the hot towel she put on me makes me feel like a steamed dumpling. will be back surely🥹🥹

After the treatment, they provided Round Lab and AESTURA skincare products, along with a Dyson hairdryer—such a thoughtful touch that really elevated the experience. The results were honestly impressive—our skin felt unbelievably soft, like “baby soft,” and that feeling lasted for days. My friend is now completely hooked on Korean body scrubs, and I can see why. We both left feeling refreshed, glowing, and deeply relaxed. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a soothing, high-quality spa experience with long-lasting results. If I lived in Seoul, I’d be going regularly!

the experience was amazing! book this the day of and the confirmed my time as soon as they opened. I wished I had the opportunity to look at my dead skin haha I was so relaxed that I didn't look before they washed it away. everyone spoke English and it was easy to communicate. very comfortable, the place is clean and really can scrub off the dirt and leave the skin smooth. The place is a little hard to find but still managed to find it. from Hapjeong station exit 2, at the street level, turn left then walk down alittle, when see the first right turn, turn in and walk all the way down and the building is on the right.. will come again before leaving the Seoul~

the experience was extremely relaxing and everything I’d hoped it to be. I felt well accommodated with the establishment being foreigner friendly, I was able to communicate my needs with very little difficulty. and that added to the overall relaxing experience.

First time having a body scrub experience in Seoul & I decided to visit a private one as I wanted the calmness that other places couldn’t provide. the location is pretty easy to find! (just a mere 5-10mins walk from Hapjeong station exit 2:) Fromt desk and 이모 is very very friendly too!:) I could only speak limited Korean but no problem is communication! would highly recommend and I may come back to visit again next time!:)
