Saturday Gugak Concert Ticket

The show was amazing! There were so many interesting performances. Definitely recommend! I just wish we booked in for the following week as well, as they do different performances each time. The booking process was also really easy, just showed our klook code they asked to confirm our names and we were good to go. You cannot take your drink in or take pictures, so just keep that in mind (at the very end they give you permission to take pictures)

A beautiful encounter with the folklore and traditional music of Korea. Moments filled with emotion and sublime beauty. The venue is not very large, so you can appreciate it from any seat. The performance started exactly on time, and the area has traditional Korean food establishments of very good quality and fair prices. Price: Totally worth it. It's important to note the ease of booking on Klook, as the venue's website is only in Korean and has difficulties with registration and completing purchases with international cards.

I enjoyed the traditional Korean arts. There were multiple programs in a short time. There was a variety of singing, dancing, and musical instruments. I have been there many times and enjoy it every time. This time, the final fan dance was beautiful and impressive. The venue was a good size, so I could see it from up close. The ticket price has increased compared to previous years, but it still feels like a good deal. There was time to take photos only for the last performance.

it was a beautiful performance! I seriously recommend it. The staff are very helpful. I included a picture of the correct building, because the map took me somewhere else. It should be the first building to your left when you walk in from the street.

the best traditional Korean music and arts show anywhere. don’t miss it if you are in Seoul on a Saturday. our third visit and it never disappoints.

A wonderful show featuring rare dances that reveal a unique side of Korean culture. It’s both cultural and entertaining. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before it starts — I had to rush to make it on time. I noticed that late arrivals are only allowed in between performances. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys traditional singing and dancing, quite different from what you usually see on TV. You can take pictures of the last dance they present.

A mesmerizing evening! The musicianship was superb, breathing new life into traditional Korean folk. The energy was infectious, the melodies hauntingly beautiful. A truly unforgettable experience that showcased the rich heritage of Korean music. Highly recommend!

what a wonderful experience, a great way to see how wonderful is the Korean historical culture and music

I saw this on Klook and had no idea what Gugak was so decided to book and go. Gugak is traditional Korean music and the performances are a mixture of ceremonial music and folk music. It was really interesting to watch, and the Mugo (drum dance) was my favourite - the dancers movements and timings were unbelievable. It's a small venue so do be prepared for it to be quite loud at times and photos are only permitted at the end. There's also a Gugak museum which offers a free guided tour in English after the concert (they wait until the concert is over so don't worry if it over runs) which you can sign up for onsite - that was a good addition to the show as it gave more information about the origins of the performances. I would recommend this to anyone wanting more culture in their trip to South Korea.
