This trip was in June, so we departed from the Kotohira-gu Shrine entrance at 5:15 PM. The driver arrived about 10 minutes early, confirmed our details, and then we were able to board the car and wait for departure. We arrived at Chichibugahama Beach around 6:00 PM and had an hour and a half of free time after getting off. Soon after we arrived, the tide started coming in, and watching the sea slowly cover the beach as the sun began to set was truly beautiful. Sunset in June is at 7:15 PM, so we were able to watch the sunset before heading back. For the return trip, you can choose to get off at JR Kotohira Station; you don't necessarily have to return to the original departure point. Overall, it's very convenient for tourists who aren't driving, and the timing was well-arranged. The driver was also very polite.
The driver was very punctual and kindly informed us of the travel time and the meeting time for the return trip. The sunset in late June was around 7:20 PM, but the clouds after sunset were also beautiful. It would have been even more perfect if the meeting time could have been 15 minutes later. However, this departure time was likely chosen to accommodate the train back to Takamatsu. Transportation here is inconvenient, and other local shuttle buses return very early, so we are very grateful for this sunset shuttle bus!

The driver arrived at the pickup location right on time and took us to Chichibugahama Beach. They also told us what time we needed to be back. Although the weather wasn't great today, overall, I would recommend purchasing this tour for the excellent ride experience.
The sunset at Chichibugahama Beach is magical, and it's easily accessible even without transportation. Spending a night in Kotohira makes for a perfect itinerary – highly recommended!
Parents' Beach is an extremely beautiful beach 🏖️. It has a rather long coastline. Once everyone has gathered, we set off. The drive is about 45 minutes, but after arriving, there's only an hour to stay, which isn't enough time to take pictures at all. Also, I hope the departure time can be moved up by an hour to coincide with the sunset 🌅.

I remember going to a place once that had umbrellas and props for you to take photos with! While it was convenient, the value for money was better last time!
The shuttle bus driver was incredibly kind, and Chichibugahama Beach is even more magnificent than I imagined. For reference, you can take more stunning photos if you go further into the beach. I had such a wonderful time! Highly recommended.
Convenient
The location is difficult to reach. If you don't have a car, this is an option. We recommend bringing light luggage and waterproof shoes.
