instructor: the instructor I had was so lovely and kind. She explained the history of Botagi wrapping and it’s tradition. In general was Really fun to speak with her. She also offered to take pictures during the class. She also offered to show me a different kind of use of Botagi that isn’t part of the. Truly kind of her😊 experience: I had a really good experience learning how to wrap Botagi. it was interesting and learning something I can do for family and friends is nice. equipment: The variety of equipment is really good and if you want at the end of the class to buy the Botagi equipment you can, they sell and I’m glad I bought. location: Was really easy to find the location and you can hang out in the area. A really nice neighborhood.

Review for: Bojagi Wrapping Experience

I had a truly meaningful experience at Studio Bojagi, a place filled with the beauty of Korean tradition. I joined a bojagi wrapping class that I had always wanted to try. The session began with a brief introduction to the history of bojagi, followed by learning four different wrapping techniques that can be used for gifts. At the end of the class, I was able to take home the piece I made. The fabrics we used were all designed and produced by Studio Bojagi itself, and they are also available for purchase. I thought it was a wonderful idea, since they can be beautifully reused when giving gifts to friends and family.

We had a wonderful time at Mi Jung’s studio, learning the art of making a Bojagi. She welcomed us with drinks and interesting cookies ( in the shape of Hangeul ) to her beautifully decorated studio. It was a very interesting learning experience and Mi Jung was very encouraging and patient. After the class we could purchase extra fabric & norigae charms for future Bojagi wrapping. I would highly recommend this class to anyone keen to learn more about Korean culture and crafts. Looking forward to future trips and classes with her.❤️

I had a wonderful experience at the bojagi class. MJ instructor: is very warm and welcoming, and she explains everything clearly, which made it easy and enjoyable to follow even as a beginner. What really stood out was her kindness. I arrived late and she patiently waited for me, and after the class I realised I had lost my wallet. She went above and beyond to help me, guiding me on what to do and even following up later to check if I was okay. A beautiful class with a truly thoughtful teacher. Highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Bojagi course. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, especially in a city that is often hectic. The course was very therapeutic and beneficial, as we worked with our hands. Minjung, the instructor, is an incredibly warm and kind teacher. She takes a lot of time for each individual and explains the steps with great patience and friendliness. We learned about different styles, and she also showed us how to wrap various items. During the course, we were served a Korean rice drink and small Korean delicacies, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this course to anyone who enjoys being creative, wants to try something new, and is interested in traditional Korean culture. :)

An amazing experience learning to make traditional Korean Bojagi wrapping cloths. The course begins by introducing the origins and history of Korean Bojagi, explained in great detail. The instructor is also wonderful, providing delicious cookies and traditional rice beverages. The cookies, shaped like Korean alphabet components, are incredibly creative and refined, showcasing the beauty of Korean traditional art in every aspect. The lesson is also very detailed and patient, teaching various Bojagi wrapping methods. I feel very fortunate to have learned multiple versions of these techniques. The background music is also beautiful. Overall, the course is enjoyable, with strong participation and good interaction. You can even take your finished product home with you. The other Bojagi cloths in the store are also beautiful; I especially loved the pair of mandarin ducks. I highly recommend coming to fully experience the unique Korean traditional culture and the beauty of Bojagi created through the collision of fingers and fabric.

From the Bojagi wrapping workshop, I can know more about the Bojagi history, and I am glad to learn 4 of the Bojagi wrapping methods. Minjung was kind to teach me and point out what I should pay attention to when I did the Bojagi wrapping. Also, the cloths used in Bojagi wrapping are pretty and environmentally friendly that can be used in fewer times. These are good for our life. I am looking forward to the advanced level workshop of Bojagi wrapping taught by Minjung in the future.

Although it was advertised as being able to accommodate Korean and English speakers, I was kindly assisted using a simultaneous translation app. The shop is stylish, and the location is easy to find. I'd love to try a different version next time.
