Bamboo Basket Boat Tour in Phu Quoc

the tour was good. the boatman was friendly and accomodating. they showed how fishing and nets work. the weather is pretty hot late april, but they provide a vietnamese hat and umbrella. there was vietnamese karaoke and a ride on the spinning bamboo boat. it was pretty quiet and also, it was just me on the river at that time.

We had so much fun, even in the off-season. This is an experience you definitely can't miss. Sadly, we didn't do all the things that were advertised on the tour. I believe it was because it was off-season, so there was no visiting the market. However, there was definitely karaoke, but there was no fish. We went around at 3 in the afternoon and were the only ones on the river for quite a while.

You'll get to experience how the people of Phu Quoc used to fish. First, you'll board a boat, and the boat owner will lend you a Vietnamese hat and give you a hand-woven grasshopper! Then, you'll watch traditional fishing methods, and they'll even put on a show using bamboo poles to maneuver the boat. If you haven't been, it's worth checking out.

This is a NEVER miss experience!!! Tour operators were very nice and provided Warm Welcome. Boat dance and mid river dance floor are really awesome!!

Very nice experience, this activity is a bit different from other activities in phu Quoc. The staffs are very friendly and you can get experience their culture here. They also learn about our culture and make us feel welcome. I strongly recommend booking this activity in Dynasty tours 😀

The activity is introduced as experiencing a bamboo basket boat ride, traditional Vietnamese fishing, and traditional singing. True, the staff is enthusiastic, but besides the bamboo basket boat ride being a good experience, the fishing and singing are very sloppy. Traditional fishing with a net lasts about 2 to 3 minutes, and even more dumbfounding is the traditional singing segment. It turned out to be an uncle playing pop songs on a loudspeaker, which means he was singing karaoke in front of us, and he even asked for a tip. Overall, the bamboo basket boat ride was fun, and we also received a handmade woven grasshopper as a souvenir. It is suggested that if the merchants don't have such a rich itinerary, they shouldn't force it. It's better to simply enjoy a bamboo boat ride and experience it lightly.

The environment is quiet and comfortable. Going early in the morning means it's not too sunny, making for a very pleasant walk. You can also experience the thrill of fast-spinning rides, which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend everyone come and visit!
