Our experience with the Kyoto Nighttime Zen Meditation & Matcha Tea Experience in Myoshinji was very peaceful and enjoyable overall, with the Klook booking process being smooth and convenient, providing clear instructions and easy coordination. The pricing feels reasonable considering the unique cultural and spiritual experience offered during the session. The facilities were clean, calm, and well-maintained, creating an authentic Zen atmosphere throughout the experience. Staff and instructors were polite, welcoming, and guided the meditation and matcha session patiently, making it comfortable even for first-time participants. The highlight of the experience was the quiet nighttime temple atmosphere combined with the relaxing Zen meditation and traditional matcha tea preparation, which created a memorable and calming experience away from the busy city environment. Overall, it is a worthwhile and highly recommended cultural activity for travelers visiting Kyoto.
A very special experience. Led by the deputy head priest, a 30-minute Zen meditation experience. Through contemplation, you can better experience the lighting and vegetation changes of Keishun-in Temple in Kyoto's Myoshin-ji Temple. After the Zen meditation, there's matcha and Kyoto sweets, and you can freely chat with the temple staff. I hope to visit again during the daytime next time.
It was a very peaceful and practical meditation session in the temple. We were a beginner group, and we enjoyed the silence and view. It is a one of a kind experience that will stay with us forever.
