What to expect
Visit five unique autumn foliage spots in Kyushu in one day! Make your trip worthwhile~ [Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine] - Autumn Leaves x Academic Shrine x Umegae Mochi The most famous academic shrine in Kyushu, with autumn leaves surrounding the stone bridge between the sacred bull and the main hall in November, full of ritual. • The red maple leaves set off the main hall of the shrine, creating a great photo atmosphere. • Be sure to eat the piping hot “Umegae Mochi” on Omotesando. • Starbucks Dazaifu Store: One of the most beautiful designs in the world! [Yutoku Inari Shrine] - A Secret Autumn Foliage Spot with a Thousand Torii Gates One of Japan’s three major Inari shrines, built on the mountainside. The torii gates extend upwards in layers, and autumn leaves dot the mountain path, as if traveling through an anime scene. • Red torii gates paired with red and yellow maple leaves create a strong visual impact. • There is also a stunning observation deck behind the worship hall to see the distant mountains of autumn leaves. • The forest road behind the shrine is less crowded, with a perfect sense of privacy. [Environmental Art Forest] - A Stunning Secret Realm of Reflections in the Water An art space converted from a private garden. The biggest highlight is the perfectly symmetrical maple leaf reflection in the pond, like traveling through a Hayao Miyazaki movie scene. • Glass water surface + autumn leaves + dry landscape create a super strong composition • The venue is not big, but it is exquisite everywhere • Not many people, the photo rate is extremely high [Kunenan] - National Treasure-Class Garden Open Only in Autumn Open for only about 9 days in mid-November! This century-old garden belongs to a wealthy merchant from the Meiji period. Maple leaves dye the entire garden red, and streams, stone bridges, and old houses are integrated into one. It is Saga’s No. 1 autumn foliage spot. On days when Kunenan is not open, we will take you to Nibi Mountain Shrine, a shrine surrounded by autumn leaves~ • Only open for these few days a year! Very rare! • The density of maple leaves is extremely high, red to the point of bursting • Take a group photo in front of the old wooden house, wearing a kimono looks like a Japanese drama [Mifuneyama Rakuen Garden] - Autumn Leaves Light Show Finale! During the day it is a natural landscape, and after the lights are turned on in the evening, it transforms into a dreamy autumn leaves night forest. The lights and autumn leaves blend together, creating a super visual impact. • The mirror pond reflects the lighted maple forest, romantic and shocking • There are also multiple check-in areas such as the maple leaf tunnel and the stone step autumn leaf trail. [Please note: The autumn foliage time is an estimated time. If the autumn foliage viewing is not good, the tour fee will not be refunded or changed]

Reviews
Great tour! Boarding in the morning was fuss-free as the tour's flag number was easy to locate near the Lawsons. Even though we missed the peak season for the leaves, our tour guide Daisy made this experience wonderful! She adjusted the order of the itinery to ensure we would not be trapped in traffic since it is a friday, gave us extra time at quite a few locations, and even added in an extra stop for leaf viewing at a secret spot on the way! At each stop, she would give reccomendations for food/items we could buy, and also told us the best photo taking spots. As the tour was concluding, she even shared personal reccomendations for things to do/dining options for our remaining stay in fukuoka. The whole journey was smooth and scenic, 10/10 would reccomend!
Thanks to the hard work and professionalism of tour guide Nicole Yang, the group was able to visit 5 scenic locations in a day and capture many beautiful images of fall foliage. Highly recommend this seasonal trip for anyone who is visiting Kyushu at this time of the year.
Before dawn, we boarded the 6:30 AM Shinkansen from Kumamoto to Hakata to join a one-day maple viewing tour. Although the autumn leaves were nearing their end, the convenience of visiting 5 spots in one day (Dazaifu, Nibi Yama Shrine, Yutoku Inari Shrine, Mifuneyama Rakuen, and Environmental Art Forest) was a very efficient way for us non-drivers. Among them, the Environmental Art Forest didn't have many autumn leaves left, so we couldn't take beautiful pictures. Our tour guide, Wu Xia, thoughtfully prepared alternative options, but unfortunately, some members of the group disagreed, so it was canceled. We still paid 700 yen to enter and took some lonely photos. Yutoku Shrine is great for taking pictures, highly recommended!
This trip to Kyushu to see the autumn leaves was truly amazing. The entire trip was arranged very smoothly, and I had a particularly comfortable and enjoyable time! The tour guide's service is especially commendable; he was very enthusiastic and attentive. At each attraction, he not only explained the stories behind it, but also proactively told us the best photo spots and angles, so we didn't have to worry about missing out on beautiful photos, which was especially thoughtful. On the way back, the tour guide also shared his experiences traveling in Fukuoka and insider tips that only locals know, which made us look forward to our next trip even more. Overall, the trip felt both worry-free and fulfilling, and I sincerely recommend it to everyone!
Daisy is a professional and caring tour guide. She spent her time sending out great information to the tour group before and during the tour. I recommend this day tour.
We love our autumn trip! Our guide Daisy is wonderful. Very nice, has a fluent English, kept us well informed about all the destinations. And of course the views were stunning. Very recommended.
This tour is very convenient, taking you to 5 very beautiful spots to see maple leaves in 1 day, which is very satisfying. Some attractions are far away and inconvenient to get to on your own, so it's great to see them all at once on a tour. Although the time at each spot is a bit rushed, the attractions are so big and beautiful that you can never take enough pictures. Even though some of the maple leaves had fallen by the end of November, they were still very beautiful. The tour guide was very considerate. Because the leaves at the paid attractions had fallen more, they let tour members freely choose whether to enter the paid spots or not. For those who didn't enter, there were also surrounding attractions to see. This tour departs early and goes to 5 attractions. Although the drive is long, it has a high value for the price. There is no lunch time, but the tour guide reminded tour members to bring dry food and snacks the day before, really making the most of the time to see the attractions. The tour guide also introduced a lot of things on the bus, so it's recommended to arrive at the meeting point earlier so you can sit in the front and hear more clearly.
It is a very great trip and the tour guide is very professional! she is so much helpful, helping us to take nic and gorgeous pic!!
A high-value day trip that was relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. Thanks to the careful introduction by our guide, Wu Xia, everyone gained a deeper understanding of the types of maple leaves and the Enkianthus perulatus. Each scenic spot became extraordinarily meaningful with her detailed explanations. Therefore, meeting Guide Wu was lucky for every member of the group, and I highly recommend her tour! It was also a wishing trip, and we even completed a leapfrog-style connection to the next destination.
Today our tour leader is Wu Xia Daisy. Even before departure, we already felt Daisy's attentiveness. She selflessly shared the best photo spots at each attraction. Because the attractions are in the suburbs, Daisy constantly reminded all tour members to prepare snacks and lunch 👍🏼👍🏼. We are very satisfied with the entire itinerary. There was enough time to visit each attraction, without feeling rushed. Thank you tour leader Daisy for the itinerary arrangement.
