What to expect
Pattana is named after Dr. Pattana Juangroongruangkit, the founder of Thai Summit Group, one of Thailand’s leading auto parts manufacturers. An avid golfer, Dr. Pattana always dreamed of having a golf course of his own, but sadly passed away before he could realize this dream.
After his passing, his wife, Dr. Somporn vowed to make her late husband’s wishes a reality. In 2004, she launched Pattana Golf Club & Resort, a 27-hole course on a lush 400-acre resort near Pattaya. She hoped that one day it would develop into a family destination for all lovers of sport.
Today, under the management of their daughter Rujirapun, the Pattana dream is coming to fruition. With plans to expand the resort into a fully-fledged sports-cen- tric town, Pattana is set to become a destination like no other.
