Fujiyama Snow Resort Yeti (or simply Snow Town Yeti) has been serving skiers since 1971. Resting on the southern foothills of Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, you can see a view of the great Mt. Fuji during clear days. Skiers from all around the world can always rely on it for being open every season. The resort has late night opening times, too, and every now and then, they even stay open all night. They have four slopes each with a different level of difficulty to choose from. In Snow Town Yeti, everyone - beginner, intermediate, advanced - can join in on the fun. For the children who are too young to ski, there’s the playground, where they can play and stay warm. Gerard Philip 3 Feb 2019Got bumped up a few days ahead since our original schedule didn't have enough participants. Make sure you provide your contacts via the available options when checking-out so they can contact you on any changes. Meet-up is at the main road not the side street (map is misleading). Alex came on time,not early, so don't freak out that you can't see the organizer. The bus is a small bus,just not sure if they use the same one everytime. Bring gloves and goggles,or rent goggles from Alex at 500yen since the resort doesn't rent out these items as they can be easily be lost (lost 1 glove during the ride on the lift while taking picks). The 2nd slope is actually easier than the first since it is less steep. There is a stop over going to Fuji but for the return if everyone is asleep they will no longer have a bathroom break so make sure you go to the toilet before exiting. Ride on the right side going to Fuji to get to see the view most of the time, our seat behind the driver is the only window that was not tinted. -

TAK WING 16 Feb 2019This deception costs us dear. We write to supplement YinYan’s review on 14 Feb 2019 as we joined the same tour. On 13 Feb 2019, we arrived the meet point at 7:15am for depart at 8:00am as scheduled but so badly that it was no tour guide or coach at the point of meet, the tourist bus arrived at 7:55am and the driver tried to contact them but in vain. Until 9:45am, a man got on the bus and said that he was the coach to replace with the original one and said some reasons and excuse. At 10:00am, he instructed the bus driver to start the journey, but after ten minutes he ordered the bus driver to drive back to the meet point to pick up a woman and a little girl without notifying the passengers inside the bus. It was crazy after picking up the new comers that the clock in the bus was already 10:30am. After that, we started the journey and arrived the Fujiyama snow resort Yeti at 1:00pm. There was an hour used up to arrange put on ski equipment. At 2:00pm, the coach was dealing with some tourists to upgrade their course to course A (intro skiing with tutor) until 2:30pm. Eventually, we just had 2 hours’ time to learn the ski skill and skiing, even though they provided two coaches and we forfeited our lunch, the tourist bus picked us up at 5:05pm to leave the Fujiyama snow resort. It was unreasonable to pay for 2 hours’ ski tour. We are reluctant to give a star in this review because we have to do so to tell our experience. As a responsible service provider, please follow up ASAP and revert. We would recommend NOT to take this tour.Thank you for raising your concern to us. Chooi Ang 5 Feb 2019It's worth taking Package A inclusive of everything needed to ski for first timers (including lesson). Tour incharge person texted a reminder 1 night before and advised what to wear and not. Ski suits are really hot (water proof) so we were advised to only wear inner thermal. Oddly, tour guide doubled as the the lesson instructor but that's fine with us. Occasionally, the 'instructor' would seem less patience to teach but we're lucky it was only 2 group of families chosen to take lessons. They accompanied my children down the faster slope even after the lesson is over, which is a bonus. Advisable to go on weekdays, far less crowd as compared to what I read prior to the trip. Picturesque view on the way there - Mt Fuji. Comfortable coach with heated seats and large windows, but not meant for Westerners- leg space very tight even for me who's on the smallee side. 1-day trip is good enough for us as it's tiring, full workout... especially when you keep falling and keep climbing back up with skis on. -

Its better to get the set with coach for your safety and enjoyment. looking forward on visiting yeti again soon. thanks Alex!!! ps. you can rent googles to alex since its not included in the package. also make sure your gloves is good for ski as the available gloves in the resort is too expensive for a 1 time use. -
