Miwa Komatsu - Prayer Dwelling Within: Sacred Nexus: Resonating with Cosmos

- Hokkaido will host the first exhibition of contemporary artist Komatsu Miwa, who is currently garnering worldwide attention for her paintings of sacred beasts such as lion-dogs and dragons.
- The audio guide will be TERU from GLAY!: GLAY is one of Japan’s leading rock bands, and will celebrate its 30th anniversary since its debut in 2024. TERU, the vocalist of GLAY, who has also been active as a painter in recent years, will be in charge of the audio guide. Experience Komatsu Miwa’s world of <prayer> through TERU’s voice!
- Approximately 70 pieces will be on display, allowing you to experience the world of Komatsu Miwa, including a series of works depicting folk tales and legends, with a focus on sacred beasts, as well as new works inspired by Hokkaido.
