The stops at each temple were overwhelmingly stunning — truly breathtaking at every turn. The trip is a full 12-hour day, but absolutely worth every minute. Nuttaya was amazing: incredibly knowledgeable, and always looking out for us. Highly recommend this experience!
first the doi inthanon hiking trip was absolutely incretible with views out of this world, stuff you would only see in video games, and then the elephant sanctuary is a must interacting with these beautiful gentle creatures its a surreal expierence, anyone thinking about it should definitly do it.
It was an unforgettable experience. Thank you for the professionalism of the guides who are attentive, pleasant, and who teach us a lot throughout the interaction with the elephants. The safety rules are well explained. The planned meal was delicious. It was a great experience.
Great experience. Everything was perfect. Pick-up was on time and drop-off was smooth. The schedule was slightly modified: departure around 8 am, arrival at 10:30 am. We did the bamboo rafting first, then lunch, and then the elephants. Nothing to complain about.
i love the whole experience! The van picked us up on time and the process was so smooth. The guides were very helpful. It was rainy when we visited but still worth it. We get to experience up close the domesticated elephants. i especially love how all the elephants were not forced to do things out of their natural behaviors. The guides were very knowledgeable also.
It was a wonderful experience. They picked us up at the hotel at 7:45 a.m., then we stopped for 15 minutes at a place to buy breakfast and use the bathroom. After that, we continued for about an hour and a half to the place where the five elephants were (one of them a 2.5-year-old baby). We had to walk through very slippery (it was lightly raining) and muddy areas. We fed the elephants, touched them, and then bathed them in the river. The guide was always kind and took photos of us, which she later shared for free. Then we had Pad Thai and watermelon for lunch and returned to the hotel. I arrived back at my hotel at 2:45 p.m.
The tour guide was fantastic, attentive, and very caring. Besides the mahouts, the elephants actively touched the tour guide, so she must be someone that the elephants feel relaxed around. Everyone can feel comfortable booking! Here, the elephants aren't made to work at all, but rather we pay to help the elephants work. It's really funny and fun~ Everyone must love elephants, love Thailand, and love Chiang Mai~ Hahahaha
One of the most amazing experiences of my life, the river rafting was great but ge Elegants gave me a rush, and joy
There wasnt much reviews when we booked this tour, but we went ahead given that it offers combination tour with Doi inthanon. Our group went to elephant sanctuary 4 with 5 of their elephants. started off with a safety briefing, before we head off to feed the elephants. it was fun feeding the elephants, plenty of food to go around. the river soaking with the elephant was a disappointment given the small river size, only 2 elephants could go in at a time. as the water was cold, the elephants didnt want to enter the water (which is alright). the shower facilities are just open area with taps. the pad thai lunch was surprisingly yummy! we then head off to doi inthanon. unfortunately it started raining and eveeything was foggy up the mountains and we didnt enjoy much view while at the twin pagoda. luckily the nature hike was beautiful! one weird thing was the driver did not drop us off at our hotel but at one nimman instead..
very good activity. we enjoyed feeding the gentle giants and also had a good interaction with them..
