Fiumicino Airport - Rome bus by Schiaffini Travel

Great time and saved a lot. Airport is far from the main city, hence, better to book a shared transport to the city and my hotel is walkable from Rome Termini. Thanks and I booked return ticket.

It was very cheap and I was able to move smoothly. The driving is a bit rough, so if you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take motion sickness medicine before boarding. I got sick. I was a bit worried about getting to the airport boarding point because it was far inside, but I showed my voucher to various people several times to confirm as I proceeded.

I planned to take the train from Roma Termini to Fiumicino Airport, but the ticket machines at the train station didn't offer direct train tickets between 10 AM and 1 PM so I opted for bus instead. Although the pickup point wasn't clearly indicated on the voucher, I was able to find it using Google Maps. The bus was fairly full, but the boarding process went smoothly. I boarded at around 9:50, and it took about 50 minutes to reach the airport. overall I’m glad that I tried the bus, this is definitely an alternative (and cheaper) option.

After arriving at the airport and going right at the exit, the bus stop was easy to find! The stop at Termini Station was where we got off. Printing out the voucher made boarding smooth. The bus was comfortable and on time. I would like to use it again next time.

There are many different operators running this service, so it’s important to confirm the correct bus bay. One staff member directed me to the wrong bay, but fortunately I double-checked and managed to board the right bus. The bus was quite old and the legroom was limited. Since we were staying near Termini, I think taking the train would have been a better option for me.

Even as a first-time independent traveler in my fifties, it was easy to find and the reservation process was simple. I'm now confident about my next trip ^^

Pros: The bus is clean and comfortable. It arrives at Termini Station quickly. Cons: The interval between buses is 1 hour and 20 minutes, and delays easily occur. The description says to visit the service center nearby, but according to the map, it's 31km away, and the map provided by default says it takes an hour to walk to the service center. However, you could board the bus without going to the service center. Also, it wasn't written where the bus was coming from, so I had to search for a long time. Overall: The bus was good, but it was difficult to find the bus because there was no information provided.

No Wi-Fi or charging outlets on the bus. The bus stop location wasn't indicated at Termini Station, so I had to find the airport bus stop separately. The bus stop location link on the booking confirmation page was for Termini Station, but the map on the ticket showed the airport. The bus departure time was not accurate.

I arrived at Rome Airport around 6 PM on an evening flight, and after struggling to drag my suitcase to the T3 bus stop to catch the bus, it was 6:40 PM ㅜㅜ. The 6:30 PM bus had already left, and the next bus wasn't departing until after 8 PM, so I thought it would be too late to get to my accommodation. In the end, I couldn't use the ticket I bought (no cancellation or refund ㅜㅜ) and purchased another bus ticket on the spot that departed at 7:00 PM to Termini Station. For those arriving in Rome at night, it seems like the bus company that Klook sells tickets for has large intervals between bus schedules, so it's good to keep that in mind. I wish the bus company's timetable was provided for reference when purchasing.
