we have amazing morning class today, my kids loves the udon! and i got try cold udon for the first time, love it!! the place also near to koen (park) so my kids can play around before and after the class! the instructor and staff very friendly! the class also very easy to follow and makes us happy!
My friend and I decided at the last minute to book this session, and it honestly was the best experience I could have imagined. It was our last day in Osaka before we were flying out, and we absolutely loved the event. It was very easy to follow and the whole experience was very enjoyable . We had a great time with Keiko, she was super sweet and warm. After going through the process we enjoyed our delicious udon noodles within 5-10 minutes after we finished cutting the dough up. The shop is also very beautiful and in a great neighborhood. I would highly recommend anyone try it out!
Me and my sister went on your backpack trip to Osaka. Great experience! We really enjoyed this cooking class, fun way to make your own udon noodles and it tasted delicious too. We can highly recommend to join this class!
New knowledge unlocked! We've made the udon in a traditional way and it was very interesting! We didn't know the effort needed until we've done it BUT IT WAS VERY WORTH IT!
The experience was great; everyone had no problem rolling and kneading the dough. However, the instructor said my dough didn't have enough water, which caused it to crack. But in the end, the noodles still tasted good and had a nice chewiness to them. 😂😂😂
The class was so amazing. The instructor was very informative and personable. Being able to eat something you have created made the experience that much better. A must go.
instructor: friendly and knowledgeable location: central experience: fun and tasty equipment: all that you need
we loved it! just our family of 4 and a couple. Rihito has an excellent grasp of English and explains the process very well. you can’t take photos and videos while making your udon so he’ll take for you! the steps were clearly explained and it was fun for my 8 and 11yo. you’ll even get the recipe at the end of the session. you can either have your udon hot or cold at the end of the session. too bad we had a heavy breakfast else we would have finished it! we also ordered the chicken (super super tender and juicy!) and the namafu (a little like mochi, chewy and springy but more savory). At the end of the session, my kids played for a while at the nearby playground (more for younger kids though bec of smaller playground equipment).
Highly recommend this udon noodle making class in Osaka! Our instructor was lots of fun and was easy to follow. He takes photos throughout the class and sends them to you at the end, along with the recipe.
We had a fantastic time at the Udon Making Class at UDONZIN. Keiko was an excellent instructor—informative, friendly, and able to make the entire process both interesting and fun. Her warm hospitality made the class incredibly enjoyable, and the time flew by. The workshop is a great experience for individuals, couples, or families alike. Learning to make udon from scratch was rewarding, and finishing with a delicious meal of the noodles we created was the perfect ending. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience that we highly recommend.
