What to expect
In this workshop, you will hand-craft "Kokedama (moss ball bonsai)," a representation of traditional Japanese culture, and arrange it on a specially made gold-lacquer repair (Kintsugi) plate.
We use high-quality moss that has antibacterial and deodorizing effects. It is long-lasting and requires no watering. All floral materials are high-quality artificial flowers that are not easily damaged, ensuring a beautiful finish.
The highlight is the "Kintsugi Plate." A one-of-a-kind Kintsugi plate, carefully handmade by artisans for this activity, is included in the set. This plate can be used as a practical dish or displayed as an interior decoration, making it a valuable piece. Kintsugi plates are available for adult participants only.
For children, we offer “Handmade Washi Origami Plates” for a safe and enjoyable experience. The content is designed to be enjoyed by parents and children together, making it ideal for families.
We also offer a free Haori rental service, allowing you to experience and take photos in Japanese attire. At the end of the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion and your handmade souvenir.
