About CMP INSPIRATION
Continuing CMP Village Foundation for Arts and Culture’s dedication to promoting art in everyday life, CMP INSPIRATION embraces imagination as the foundation for innovation, opening up everyone's imagination through creative translation and cross-disciplinary integration. It is also the first cultural venue in Taiwan designed by the international architectural master Kengo Kuma. The architectural concept starts with "unveiling the earth," combining the design vocabulary of curved arabesques to deepen the connection between CMP INSPIRATION and the neighborhood. The interior extends the rhythm and transparency of the building, bringing an alternative mountain-like experience through the overlapping and interlacing of spatial curves.
About the 2025 Summer Exhibition《Net & String Taichung》
In the summer of 2025, the Austrian curatorial art team Numen / For Use and curator Christoph Katzler will come to Taiwan for the first time, specially bringing two new immersive installation art pieces,《Net Taichung》and《String Taichung》, that resonate with the distinct architectural vocabulary of CMP INSPIRATION.
《Net Taichung》is a net-like structure suspended in space by tension, like a three-dimensional painting that can be walked through; 《String Taichung》’s taut ropes traverse the space, transforming architectural vocabulary into an immersive experience. The two works extend the architectural visual language of CMP INSPIRATION, creating a flexible and responsive spatial experience.
Come and play freely like children in this imaginative summer!

A very special exhibit. Although it only takes about half an hour and the exhibit area isn't large, it's enough time to enjoy wandering through the lines. I was surprised to discover there were two levels!
Worth the experience! They control the number of people entering, so you can really enjoy taking pictures.
It's a lot of fun, and the kids had a great time climbing up and down. My child said, "I want to come again next time!" 🤣 The scenery is beautiful no matter how you take the pictures.
A very unique exhibition experience, taking about 40 minutes. It starts with a net area that you need to climb, and further inside, there's another exhibition area with a sense of lines, which is great for taking photos. Remember to wear socks. It's recommended to bring a phone lanyard so you don't have to worry about dropping your phone.
The exhibition hall is small, but not crowded, so you can relax and climb freely. You'll need to check your bags and other personal items before entering. Socks are required for entry.
The experience was great, but the ticket purchase options are very misleading. The offer states: "[Special Exhibition Ticket/15% Off] Download the 'CMP Life APP' for free and show it upon login on-site to redeem." This implies that simply downloading it gets you 15% off, which isn't true! Step 1: You MUST use the Taiwan App Store to even see the "CMP Life APP." Step 2: Downloading the app doesn't automatically get you 15% off. Showing the downloaded app at the exhibition isn't enough. You need to register as a member. Step 3: You need a Taiwanese phone number to become a member. So, the "Free download for 15% off" is only for friends with Taiwanese phone numbers! For an internationally-oriented exhibition hall with such an interesting experience, if the 15% discount isn't available to non-Taiwanese users, please make that clear. I wouldn't mind paying full price, but I had to switch my App Store to Taiwan, successfully download the app, and then go back to pay the difference – what a terrible process! These 5 stars are for the exhibition content, not your ticket purchase experience!
Highly recommend this exhibit! You can fully explore and climb through the clinic-themed installations, and the photos you take will turn out great.
It's a truly unique and special exhibition! The kids loved it, they could climb and explore inside, and the photos taken were really special. I recommend everyone to give it a try.
If you can't receive the verification code on the Qinmei app, you can go to the venue early and ask the counter staff for help; the bag is placed in the open locker after entering the venue, so people who mind should not bring valuables. Be sure to wear thicker socks! Thicker! The experience is super good ~ highly recommended
The space at Net Taichung instantly awakens your playful side, making you want to climb up and down as if you were a child again. Lying on the net allows you to carefully observe its beautiful structure, relaxing your entire being and bringing a sense of peace and comfort. In contrast, the space at String Taichung is composed of neatly arranged black lines, creating a regular and orderly environment that appeals to my obsessive-compulsive tendencies. It's pleasing to the eye and very organized. I hope to have the opportunity to attend other exhibitions in the future.
