[Korean Guide] [Southern Tour] Valensole + Verdon + Moustiers (Departure from Nice/Small Group)

Why does such a great tour have so few reviews? I'm here to write a highly recommended review, paid for with my own money! Even though I participated alone, I thoroughly enjoyed every spot for over two hours each, thanks to Guide Choi Seong-bin's dedicated care, and had a fun day communicating with the other people on the tour. The time spent swimming after taking a boat into Verdon was truly an unforgettable moment. Make sure to bring your swimsuit and pack flat peaches or similar snacks to enjoy on the boat! Also, Guide Choi Seong-bin went around to all the boats, diligently taking photos of everyone on the tour and ensuring our safety. I'm so grateful!

I went on the July 1st tour with Guide Kang Jun-ho! From the very beginning, our guide took such good care of us, and he shared interesting stories about Nice during the trip, which made it so enjoyable to learn new things. Originally, the itinerary was Valensole (lavender fields) > Moustiers > Verdon, but since strong winds were expected in the afternoon, we went to Verdon > Moustiers > Valensole to ensure we could ride the pedal boats! Even though it was before lunch, the sun was strong near Verdon, so we had a refreshing swim in the lake. There wasn't a changing room, but thanks to the consideration of our guide and fellow travelers, we were able to comfortably change clothes inside the van. Even though this year was exceptionally hot and the lavender harvest was early, our guide found only the most beautiful spots, allowing us to see lavender in full bloom! When I visited, there was still plenty of lush lavender, just like in the pictures. He also took such beautiful photos for us, helping me get some amazing shots! He frequently checked if we were too hot and pointed out great photo spots. Thanks to our guide, I truly enjoyed the trip. If anyone is considering a Provence tour, I highly recommend Easy Go Tour!

Our day tour was led by Guide Kang Jun-ho. Due to the nature of the areas we visited, there was a lot of long-distance travel, which made it difficult for individuals to sightsee on their own. This made the guide's role even more crucial. Thanks to Guide Kang Jun-ho, we were able to enjoy comfortable travel in the car, and even when the intense heat and fatigue started to set in, his witty explanations kept us thoroughly entertained. Also, if you dine at the same restaurant as the guide, he'll help you order with his fluent French. So, if you'd like to witness his French skills, I recommend joining him at the same restaurant.

While the price might seem slightly higher than other options, this tour offers a much longer duration that fully justifies the cost. You are given ample time to explore each destination, and the guide does a fantastic job of coordinating the timeline flexibly according to the group's consensus. What sets this tour apart is the Verdon Gorge itinerary. Rather than taking the risky route up the narrow cliffside roads, the tour stays at the base of the gorge. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy activities like boating and swimming safely. If you prefer to avoid dangerous mountain roads but still want to experience the best of the gorge, this is the ideal choice. Big thanks to Guide Sungbin Choi, who remained thoroughly professional and welcoming throughout the day despite the hot weather. Highly recommended!

This was the most enjoyable time during my 5 days in Nice. The comfortable vehicle, light commentary, and exciting music made the more than two-hour journey pleasant. Although the lavender fields of Valensole greeted us a bit late in the season, it felt like a stroke of purple luck for me. With outfits and hats that matched the lavender, and wonderful photos with my daughter, my luck was doubled! The second stop, the village of Moustiers, exceeded all expectations. The buildings exuded a strong Provence feel, and the people were lovely. In particular, the cafe owner, desserts, and sandwiches recommended by our guide were truly impressive. Of course, the tranquility and peacefulness of the monastery were like the Dom Pérignon of Moustiers. Even the smooth stones on the path up were charming. The final destination, Verdon Gorge, was an exciting experience, complete with a dynamic boat ride, which my daughter, like an angel, said reminded her of New Zealand. Strolling leisurely around the lake and chatting with my daughter was incredibly peaceful. Thank you for a safe trip with our guide, who combined excellent driving skills with a delightful sense of humor!
