What to expect

Day 1: Depart Agadir through the scenic Anti-Atlas Mountains. Stop in Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site famed for its kasbahs and film history. Continue via the Valley of Roses to the dramatic Dades Gorges for overnight.

Day 2: Head to Todra Gorges for a walk through towering canyon walls. Continue via Erfoud, known for fossils, to Merzouga. Enjoy a camel trek across Erg Chebbi dunes, watch the sunset, and spend the night in a Berber desert camp.

Day 3: Catch sunrise over the dunes, visit Rissani, and drive through the lush Draa Valley. Stop in Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech by evening.
