Seoul Night Tour:Han River Cruise & Gwangjang Market & Hidden Street

This was such a wonderful experience. Our tour guide, John, has been a knowledgeable, amiable and funny guide. We were able to try the most popular korean dishes in Gwangjang Market such as the Yukhoe (raw beef), Mung Bean pancakes and Gimbap, stroll along Cheonggyecheon Stream, and, to cap the night off, got to see the beautiful skyline of Seoul through the Hangang River Cruise. Although, it was cold during the cruise, it was still very dreamy and romantic. Definitely, a must-tour to book.

I just went solo on the tour and met John our Guide. it felt like going on a trip with someone you know already since months or years. John did so great and I enjoyed the trip with him together really well. he preferred what to eat at the market, we just shared some food and I would recommend it to everyone.

Our group of six joined the tour from Japan. Our tour guide was extremely polite and kind! On the day of the tour, the guide will pick you up by car from the designated location. You'll receive an email the day before introducing your guide for the next day along with their name. This time, our guide was a man in his 30s named Yun Sang-wook Edward. When we booked the tour, Japanese wasn't listed as an available language option, but Edward speaks four languages: Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean! We didn't need to use a translator at all and were able to chat in Japanese the entire time. He also took photos for us at each stop of the tour. This tour doesn't include cruise tickets, so we purchased them separately in advance. We chose the Starlight Cruise, and the night view was absolutely stunning! It was written that you need to present your passport to board the cruise ship, but Edward took care of all the procedures for us, and we were able to board without any worries. You can enjoy the tour without feeling any anxiety about the language barrier overseas! First, we drove to a back street for a stroll. We had free time to explore, and the stylish streets were filled with bars, restaurants, and雑貨屋, and there were more people than you'd expect on a weekday. However, it wasn't so crowded that we had to wait in long lines, so we were able to enter any store that caught our interest right away. I think it's a great place to enjoy drinks. After that, we arrived at the cruise ship terminal in about 30 minutes by car. Edward explained everything in Japanese, including the location of the restrooms and convenience stores. The cruise ship was also very beautiful! I'll post my detailed impressions of the cruise in that section of the reviews. Edward said that there aren't many Japanese people on the tour, but you should definitely go! You'll have a lot of fun!

Alex, our guide, was absolutely fantastic! He took us through the night market, sharing his culture and introducing us to amazing local food. Since he discovered that some of us were BTS fans, he even added a special stop at Hybe, which we truly appreciated. I only have positive things to say about Alex and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Alex was such an amazing guide! He made the whole tour feel fun and relaxed, and it honestly felt more like hanging out with a friend than being on a tour. The Han River cruise was such a highlight and he made sure it was smooth and enjoyable, He even took a detour and stopped by the HYBE building because I'm a huge BTS fan. I really appreciated his energy and kindness. Definitely recommend Alex and his your to anyone visiting Seoul!

Thank you to our guide, Steven Kim, for his kind service and professional explanations. He introduced us to authentic Gwangjang Market delicacies and explained how Seoul is divided into Gangnam and Gangbuk districts by the Han River Bridge. This not only allowed us to feast but also significantly deepened our understanding of Seoul. The pleasant weather, beautiful night views, and an excellent guide made this a highly recommended tour! 👍👍👍

Stella our guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about all the food choices and helpful ordering for us. I was hoping it would be more of a tasting experience as each place was a full serving so it was time consuming and hard to try a lot of things . I would recommend doing it your first day as we had already tried a lot of the dishes already. Also see if your guide can help you get the smallest portions so you can try more options. Again though our guide Stella was outstanding and we got a lot of memoriabe photos thank you Stella
