"Boss, Give Me a Bowl of Plain Noodles!" is a musical that combines music, interaction, and nostalgia. The story takes place in the streets of Taipei in the 80s. A small noodle stall carries the daily fragments of people coming and going, and also collects the emotional memories of a city.
The noodle stall owner, "Yingying," grows from a young girl to a strong woman, delicately depicting the changes of the times in Taipei. To commemorate her beloved mother, she organizes the cassette tapes she has treasured for many years, allowing classic Chinese songs to reappear in the store. The familiar songs bring back everyone's youth and memories.

Plot Introduction
The story takes place in a noodle stall, where recordings of a radio program from many years ago are always played, which surprises many nostalgic customers and attracts many media to report.
It turns out that the host of this radio program was Yingying's mother. To commemorate her mother, Yingying specially sorted out the program audio files left by her mother and played them in the store. As the radio broadcasts familiar classic songs, it instantly returns to Taipei in the 80s, and also returns to Yingying's childhood.
The first-generation owner of this noodle stall was Yingying's father. Yingying helped in the store since she was a child. It was also in this store that Yingying met Xin Xueyou, who she has been concerned about for nearly 40 years. Xueyou often came to the store to eat noodles, and although he could only afford a bowl of plain noodles each time, Yingying often asked Xueyou for help with his homework. There seemed to be an inexplicable ambiguous emotion developing between them, but neither of them said it.
One day, Yingying was in a bad mood and said something that made her father very uncomfortable. Xueyou, who happened to be there, couldn't stand it anymore, slapped Yingying, and said that he was disappointed in Yingying and turned to leave. After this departure, the two never met again.
