Busan Authentic Korean BBQ Experience – Local Food Guide & Cultural

Had such an amazing time last night at our K-BBQ! There was just one other person in our group besides our guide, and she was from Mexico. We ended up having the best time—eating, drinking, laughing, and sharing about our cultures. It was such a unique experience and we even made new friends along the way 🥰. We were having so much fun we didn’t get back until midnight!

amazing. I can’t speak highly enough of this night. Dinner was amazing. Joe helped with everything was really helpful really useful and really knowledgeable. after dinner he took us to a bar that served dessert as well and it was fantastic one of the most memorable and best nights that I’ve had in South Korea so far highly recommend doing this one!!

For anyone who is on the fence about booking this - do it! The evening experiencing a Korean BBQ and getting to learn about Korean culture with Joe was one of the highlights of my trip. the laughs kept going all night and it really felt like being among friends than on an experience for tourists. I can’t recommend it highly enough, especially for solo travelers who otherwise might not get the opportunity to enjoy an iconic Korean food experience. Entertaining guide and a nice evening. For this tour you best don‘t eat anything during the day 😀. My son and I enjoyed the food.

Joe is hands down one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I’ve met in Korea! From the moment our tour began, his enthusiasm and deep passion for Korean culture shone through in everything he did. What a night! Food was excellent, Joe was great, and the stories never stopped. Joe taught us korean drinking rules which I only see in k-dramas and experiencing it first hand was hilarious!! Great way to not only enjoy great food but to also meet equally amazing human beings ❤️ Highly recommended

Location: Shopping district near Nampo-dong Experience: Our guide, Joe, was incredibly funny and talkative, which immediately put me at ease since I was worried about keeping the conversation going😆. Solo travelers should definitely consider this. Personally, I can't eat three servings of Korean BBQ like I used to... Having a humorous guide and fellow travelers to share Korean BBQ with allows for all sorts of conversations and exchanges. Joe also demonstrated some Korean dining and drinking etiquette! Afterward, you can join the second and third rounds. We had delicious 곱창 jeongol (beef intestine hot pot) and visited a cozy bar where everyone spoke freely. It was a very enjoyable experience, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to chat (with Koreans?) or experience the culture more deeply.

Can I give more stars? I didn’t really had plan what to do in Busan, and ended up booking Joe’s bbq experience, lucky me 🍀 Had the best time with great people, Joe really makes everyone feel very comfortable. So definitely if you are in Busan, booking with Joe is a must, having grown up here he gives a very good insight into the culture and how is the daily life for people living here. You can tell he cares about his city and the people, I was very moved 🧡 As he said, it’s not where you go but about the people you’re with, and I couldn’t agree more, so again, thank you Joe, I will come back.…Also book his tour for the day ☀️ Oh and he’s kinda funny (he is very funny man) 😊
