- To protect the ecological environment of the Shaoshan Scenic Area and solve the problem of traffic congestion, the Shaoshan Municipal Government has launched a scenic area traffic transfer system. All tourists visiting the Shaoshan Scenic Area must purchase an environmental protection bus ticket for ¥20 per person (included), which is a mandatory consumption item. After purchasing the ticket, the tour bus can enter the designated docking point in the scenic area with the ticket as a special pass. Some scenic spots do not require a transfer to the environmental protection bus.
- The Former Residence of Comrade Mao Zedong, the Memorial Museum of Comrade Mao Zedong, and the Hunan Museum require a valid ID for visits. Please bring your valid ID.
