• teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi is conceived by the globally acclaimed Tokyo-based art collective teamLab.
• teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi opened on April 18th, 2025.
• teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi is part of Abu Dhabi’s thriving network of cultural institutions in the Saadiyat Cultural District that is on track for completion in 2025.
• The multi-sensory experience features two main areas, the dry and wet areas, and hosts massive transformative exhibitions spanning a gross floor area of 17,000 sqm space.
• Housed in a purpose-built structure conceptualized and designed by lead architects MZ Architects in collaboration with teamLab Architects.
• As part of teamLab’s new concept of Environmental Phenomena, the architecture for teamLab Phenomena was designed from the inside out and the outside in, creating a structure that wraps around experience.
• The featured artworks are created and shaped by the environment which produces the phenomena.
• The unique architecture plays an important role in providing the artworks with an environment to evolve freely and organically as if they were life forms themselves.
