Sawasdee Chaophraya Cruise in Bangkok

Our Sawasdee Dinner Cruise was amazing. Great food choices, although did not see the beef steak available (advertised). nevertheless, total experience was really good.

The service on board was excellent. It happened to be my birthday month, and I signed up on Klook the night before. I filled it out during registration, and they gave me a small birthday cake, which was delicious. During the river cruise, the emcee sang, danced, and was great at creating a lively atmosphere. One of the most surprising arrangements was the firework show, which lasted at least 30 seconds. On the return trip to the pier, we also encountered the ICONSIAM water show. The view from the boat was exciting and joyful. I personally think this experience was very worthwhile.

The meeting point at Pier 4 of ICONSIAM was easy to find. Even though it was crowded, we felt at ease because different reception staff were happy to help us. There's no need to arrive early as seats are assigned in advance. The food selection was abundant, but it would be helpful if there were spice level indicators. We had a great time watching the traditional dances and Muay Thai. The performers in traditional costumes and the Muay Thai fighters were happy to take photos with us, so it's a good idea to bring some money for tips. And of course, the amazing night view! It was breathtaking! Highly recommended!!

I have tried this and the cheaper yet more popular dinner cruise options. I can confidently say this is more worth it for the additional cost. It is more organized and the staff are ready to assist you for additional orders such as beverages. I recommend asking for the rooftop seats as they give the best view. Try going early too (around 5pm) to get your table assignment then come back at the designated time (6:30pm) for the boarding. I think they still need more improvement in organizing the queues in and out of the boats. It becomes very messy and some guests might push as there are no proper lines.

This was a last minute purchase. Process was easy in Klook. Proceeded to pier but it was unclear where to wait until I asked one of the other tables. All of the cruises had tables set up for check-in in the same area but our cruise didn’t put their sign up yet. once they did, we all got in line to get our table / seat. it’s controlled chaos but it works somehow. Other than that, going on board and the trip itself was pretty smooth sailing.

The Sawasdee Chaophraya Cruise was a relaxing and enjoyable way to see Bangkok at night. The river views were beautiful, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the experience felt well organized. A great option for a calm evening on the water.

Plenty of food, plenty of fun, the night scenery along Chao Phraya River was beautiful, crossing under the bridge was fun.

There's not much information online about the VIP cabin, but the first experience was really worth the price, full of prestige. There were two service staff serving us throughout. The boat requires ticket exchange, and one cabin can seat ten people. You can also eat outside food, and the waiter will bring it to you. The latest boarding time is 6:30 PM, and you can exchange tickets before then. There is also a shopping center next to it, and the shopping center has the world's largest POP MART.

The year before last, I dined on the open-air deck of the Chao Phraya Princess cruise. While braving the waves in nature was nice, the wind was a bit too strong and chilly. The food dried out too quickly, not as good as dining indoors on the second floor of the Princess Cruise. Of course, you can still enjoy the view from the top deck after a delicious meal; you can fully enjoy both experiences. What's more, the live singing, dancing, and Muay Thai performances during the meal were truly amazing, and definitely worth the price. If you have the chance, come and experience it for yourself!

We chose this as our final course with perfect timing before heading to the airport with the family, and it was more wonderful than expected!! My family was so happy! Seeing Bangkok by cruise has a different charm than a rooftop! Highly recommend it!!
