I was surprised by the guide's enthusiasm and his passion to convey something to the guests. To be honest, my English is only at about Grade 3 of the Eiken test. Naturally, I didn't understand 95% of what the guide was explaining. Still, the guide didn't get discouraged, and showed his desire to explain things slowly, and worked hard until the end of the three-hour tour. We talked about the Pol Pot era, religion, the lake, and rice cultivation. If I had understood English, it would have been an amazing three hours. So I've made a resolution. I'm going to study English hard until next year. I wonder how much I'll be able to enjoy this tour. I'm really fired up right now.
