What to expect

See what lies beyond Batan Island with this tour of Sabtang Island! Explore the entire province in just 9 hours onboard an open-air jeepney. Cross the Pacific Ocean on a faluwa from the mainland and arrive at the port just in time for your tour. Visit San Vicente Ferrer Church, a National Historical Landmark on the island. Head next to Malakdang Lighthouse for an unparalleled view of the surrounding cliffs and rugged terrain. Make your way down to the town proper to see the iconic stone houses of Sinakan and Savidug. Meet the locals living at the neighboring streets, with houses influenced by the Ivatan architectural style. Pass by Sto. Thomas Chapel on your way to an ancient lime kiln by the beach. Walk farther along the itinerary route and find yourself staring at the entirety of Sabtang from Tinyan Viewpoint. After that, complete your stone house viewing experience with a visit to Chavayan Stone House. Pay your respects at Sta. Rosa de Lima Chapel while on your way to the Sabtang Weavers Association, where you can try on an Ivatan headgear. Shop for handmade souvenirs from the locals before your tour takes you to Sinakan Centro. Lounge by the white sand shores of Morong Beach and take pictures of the Nakabuang Arch. End the tour with a ride back to your hotel.
