Tbilisi Vardzia & Rabati Castle Full-Day Historical Tour

The ancient cave town in Vardzia was truly unique, beautiful, and amazing. Everything is still well-preserved and clean. They rebuilt Rabati Castle , this place also a great photo spot. When we arrived there, it turned out the location was being used for a live music concert. We really had a great time there. The tour guide was excellent, explaining things patiently and in details He was also always present and looking after the tour participants. The bus was also nice and clean. The food served at the local restaurant was delicious and they served the local traditional cuisines of Georgia.. The restaurant has a direct view of the cave town. Truly amazing experienced there.

The tour can be really hectic as they will cover some 900 to and fro. But this tour will introduce you the interiors of Georgia which is breathtaking. Out guide David goes extra mile to help you and explain you about his country. Awesome experience overall.

It was good organization of the tour, our tour guide gave us enough information in Russian and English languages. Enough time for free time to walk around and make a more pictures. Locations are amazing! Must visit places in Georgia

I enjoyed visiting Vardzia and Rabati. With Rabati, however 50 minutes free time around might not be enough unless you just focus on the paid area only. In Vardzia, you must be prepared physically to go up and down stairs, hike uphill, etc. Borjomi is beautiful with the scenic mountains. Our tour guide Georgi, was able to explain a lot of facts in Russian. he can work on translating in English all what he says as sometimes he can get carried away speaking only to Russian speakers. overall, the Vardzia experience was truly a highlight.

Alex was an exceptional guide and makes a good team with the driver. Very knowledgeable on the history of the place and very passionate on his work. He will also make sure that the guest/tourist is happy and satisfied during the tour.

The cave city is worth visiting, and it is recommended to pay 20 Lari to go inside the Islamic fortress.

The tour was amazing. We got to see a lot of the Georgian nature, sadly when I was there the group was mostly Russian speaking, the tour guide also explained everything in English but it felt like the Russian explanation was longer. We did arrive back home roughly 2 hours later than planned.

I like the attractions and Robert is a caring tour guide. He took care and let everyone have time for sightseeing without rushing. Especially he sang very well on the long trip. it made a snow days more warmer !!!
