Enjoy fantastic views, an unspoiled natural environment and exotic flora and fauna on a three day trek around Bumthang. Walk along tranquil trails passing thick forests, rich in rare blue pine, majestic maple and strong bamboo. Visit ancient Buddhist temples and monasteries and marvel at the unobstructed view of Mt. Gangkar Puensum - the highest unconquered peak in the world. Catch a glimpse of the rare Himalayan Tragopan, a brightly plumed pheasant, typically spotted from April to May and complete the journey by trekking the scenic Royal Heritage Trail on the third day of the tour to round off a challenging but rewarding and beautiful trek. Expeditions are led by an experienced guide and accompanied by a team of professionals, including horses to carry all personal gear.
