This was a great experience getting to try out traditional Japanese archery in a safe, fun, and simplified manner. The instructors explain everything really well, and make great use of google translate to get the message across easily and clearly for non-Japanese speakers. Highly recommend this experience!
I love it so much! The instructors are very patient, the equipments are also great, they explained very well and you have plenty of time to practice and a little competition is so fun. There’s only 4 spots for each session and there are 4 instructors in each class so you are very well looked after. This makes me want to start getting into it when I go back home.

Great workshop with an introduction to the world of Japanese archery. The opportunity to put on the clothing is optional and can be done at your leisure. The instruction was great, and the workshop was constantly accompanied by 3 people who always made sure you were doing everything right. I would book again anytime. 👍

It was a really great experience! We had a wonderful time, the explanations are clear, and we managed to understand each other despite the language barrier. You can shoot lots of arrows, and you feel like you're progressing throughout the session! Thank you!

A brilliant experience! (Thanks!) Dressed in do-gi and hakama, our two instructors took us through the basics of shooting arrows. The venue was cosy and perfect for a small-group experience. We are a family of 4 (kids of 12 and 16) and the instructors spent lots of time with each of us. I’m sure we each shot 40+ arrows each so there was plenty of time to really get immersed in it with a bit of competition thrown in for good measure. As with all the martial arts we experienced whilst in Japan, it felt very authentic and respectful. I’d highly recommend a visit. It was great fun.
