Very much worth it! The views were as promised. Ivan and Caroline were very good guides. They were patient despite me being 5 mins late to the meeting place. Linda was a terrific driver. Must do when in Bergen!
Our guide and driver was really pleasant and informative. I personally enjoyed the fjord cruise and the flam railway..but i would give the viking village a skip as it was a rather small area to explore but everything else on the itinerary was great.
• The ultimate tranquility of zero noise: The new electric boats operate with almost no engine noise or vibration, allowing you to hear only the sound of waterfalls and seabirds. This "silent journey," paired with the thousands-of-meters-high cliffs soaring into the clouds and plunging straight into the sea on both sides, creates a deeply profound visual and emotional impact. • Obstruction-free viewing platforms: The vessel is designed with a stepped, slope-style deck reminiscent of a "mountain trail," ensuring that no matter where you stand to take photos, you won't be blocked by anyone in front of you. • The historical charm of the Viking village (Gudvangen): The final destination, Viking Valley, is a living history museum featuring actors simulating the daily lives, crafts, and archery of ancient Vikings, making it a fascinating and highly rated experience for history and culture enthusiasts.
• Waterfall Scenery and Stopover: The train makes a special 5-minute stop in front of the magnificent Kjosfossen Waterfall, allowing all passengers to step off and take photos at the viewing platform. Norwegian mythological music is played on-site, and dancers dressed as mountain spirits (Huldra) perform near the waterfall. Although a bit touristy, the atmosphere is wonderfully enhanced. • Engineering Marvel Scenery: The train passes through countless hand-carved tunnels and ascends the valley with a 180-degree hairpin turn. Outside the window are roaring streams, steep valleys, and scattered traditional Norwegian colorful wooden houses, with every scene looking like a postcard. • Nostalgic Carriages and Chinese Audio: The interior of the carriages features a classic vintage wood-toned design, which is very comfortable. The screens and audio broadcasts on the train provide explanations in Chinese, offering detailed introductions to the attractions along the route and the history of the railway.

great experience… views from cruise are amazing and Viking village visit is just unique. flam railway journey is one of the most beautiful train journey one can experience. must visit
We encountered clear, sunny weather, and the scenery along the way was absolutely breathtaking. Especially when taking the boat, the gentle ripples on the water combined with the sunlight reflecting off the surface and the mountain mists intertwined to create picturesque views. Every single photo is truly irresistible—how can there be such stunning scenery? It is well worth a visit!
