We had a nice trip and much fun on board. The crew is very nice, polite and helpfull. We had breakfast and a delicious lunch. Everything was freshly cooked and served. During this long day you have time for games, chatting, reading a book, thinking what to do next on your holiday or just chill and relax. The wheather was chilly in the early morning 5am, but later we had plenty of sunshine. The landscape on both riverbanks of Irrawaddy passed slowly by, villages, hills and at last Sagaing hill, with many pagodas. I enjoyed my trip from Bagan to Mandalay.
This has to be the best way to travel from Bagan to Mandalay! It's a long journey - we left beneath a Bagan sun rise and arrived as it set behind the temples of Mandalay. However, the company of fellow travelers was friendly and the on-board service could not have been better. The food was good, the company excellent and the journey fascinating. What an insight to the changing cultured of these water side communities. Highly recommended.
Very authentic boat, a bit old but with very kind people) we had ordinary breakfast: butter toasts with jam and honey, banana, egg and tea/coffee and very tasty lunch! There are two halls 1st and 2nd class - and as there were not many passengers in second class room we may sleep horizontally on the row of 3 seats)
Vẻy nice experience traveling on the boat spdown the Irrawaddy. Got to the jetty at 5a.m, check in Was brief and minutes later it started to move. Breakfast is simple: boiled egg, toast with butter and jam, bananas and beverage (tea and coffee). The sailing was smooth so I fell asleep a couple times. Lunch was abundant and super delicious since there were only 5 on board. It was a lovely meal. The lady on the upper deck was super friendly and hospitable. No doubt I would choose them again if I return to Myanmar.
What a great way to travel to Mandalay! It was an early start, having to be down at the jetty in Bagan at 5am, but it was very efficient with all passengers being ticked off on a list as they boarded. The breakfast of boiled egg, a banana and toast, washed down with ample quantities of fresh coffee was most welcome at sunrise. An amazingly tasty lunch of vegetables and fried rice was rustled up for us all at lunchtime. It was so relaxing to sit and chat the day away other passengers and take photos of life along the river banks of the Ayeyarwady. Captured a lovely sunset over the river just before turning the final bend and arriving at Mandalay jetty. If you're thinking about it, DO it!

If I can give over a hundred percent, I will! I left my bag on the cruise and they deliver my bag to the hotel!
They serve breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Worth every penny. Though it’s a 12hrs cruise, you won’t feel bored. You will feel more relaxed while enjoying the view. You will get to see sunrise and sunset too.
