What to expect
Your tour through this incredible landscape begins with a scenic drive over the Tasman Peninsula, where your guide describes the environment, allowing you to feel as though you were in the shoes of a convict. The first stop takes you to the views at Pirates' Bay lookout to gaze into the rugged landscapes of the Tessellated Pavements. Your next stop is Port Arthur Historic Site, whereupon you can enjoy a tour throughout the grounds and go on a harbor cruise. You'll get plenty of time to freely explore the site on your own as well. On the way back, you'll uncover the secrets of Tasman National Park's Remarkable Caves, Tasman Arch, and Blowhole. If you're lucky, you'll even be able to try some local produce on the way back.
