What to expect
Explore Thailand's island paradise in Krabi with a visit to Hong Islands. Belonging to the National Marine Park, this stunning four-island archipelago is just twenty minutes away from Ao Nang by speedboat. With a mesmerizing backdrop of Phang Nga Bay, the islands have rightfully earned their title as some of the most beautiful in Thailand. Hong is literally translated as "room" from Thai — and for a reason: the islands are secluded and in the centre is a lagoon completely surrounded by cliffs. You will be able to enjoy complete privacy, crystal clear water and sunny sandy beaches away from crowds of tourists so you can truly relax.

Once booked it was instant confirmation. Do provide your hotel name and address upon booking and they will contact you to let you know the pick up time. Overall it was a smooth process from pick up, the tour and the drop off. Our guide name Alex was funny, helpful and very accommodating. Drinks are provided in the boat during the tour. We had a lunch buffet. It was ok. All the islands we visited was so beautiful especially the Hong Island. If there is one island that you should visit during your Krabi holiday, Hong Island should definitely be in the list.
It was the highlight of our Krabi trip! The views of the islands were amazing and all the beaches we’ve stopped to were very clean! You can definitely tell that these places are thoroughly maintained and protected. We did the hike up to the Hong Islands lookout where we can see all the little islands and the view was spectacular! I would love to this trip again.
I highly recommend this trip. There were only five of us in our group this time, and the driver was very punctual. Our guide, John, took great care of everyone and diligently took many photos for us. His superb photography skills are also commendable. I hope you'll be lucky enough to meet him!
My island-hopping adventure with Klook today was an absolute dream from start to finish! 🛥️ The organization was seamless, with a friendly guide who shared fascinating insights about the limestone karsts that were formed over 250 million years ago. 🗿 I was thrilled to learn that the crystal-clear waters of the Hong Islands are so pristine that they serve as a vital natural nursery for colorful tropical fish and rare marine life. 🐠 Every stop, from the "hidden room" of the lagoon to the soft sands of Pelay Beach, was perfectly timed so I never felt rushed. ⏳ The crew's warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel truly cared for throughout the entire journey. 🌟 I’m returning to the mainland with a heart full of gratitude for such a well-managed and breathtaking experience! 🙏 🏝️ 🌊 ☀️ 🤳 🚤 🥤 📸 ✨ 💙 🌿 #Klook #Krabi #IslandHopping #TravelThailand #HongIslands #NatureLovers #Blessed #AdventureAwaits #CrystalWaters #TravelGram itinerary: guide: scenic views on board:
It was a very well organized trip. We were given enough time at every spot to enjoy the place, explore and soak in the scenic beauty. Out guide was very patient and cheerful and also was very clear with every instruction.
I joined this tour as a solo traveller and had a wonderful experience. I loved feeling the breeze on my face while riding the longtail boat, and the beach was beautiful, very clean, and perfect for swimming. Our guide was extremely helpful and even offered to take photos for me. Overall, the trip was relaxing, enjoyable, and truly lovely.
I was worried about the longtail boat, but it took about 45 minutes to return from the last point, and I was fine after taking motion sickness medicine. Guides Q and Rosy professionally conducted the tour, making it a memorable trip! They were friendly, cheerful, and well-organized 👍 We went to a snorkeling point by boat, enjoyed relaxing on the island, and it was the best! It was nice to bring a mat, take a nap, and chill out. Personally, I recommend the Hong Island tour over the Phi Phi Island tour ❤️
The Hong Island tour was amazing! Our guide Marian was so friendly, professional, and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. The schedule was exactly as described on Klook, and since it was low season, the small group made it very relaxed. Lunch was simple but served in clean reusable boxes, and it tasted much better than expected. On the islands, there were small shops selling drinks, snacks, and coffee. I bought a grilled corn there with my own money, and it was absolutely delicious! After the tour, before boarding the hotel shuttle, they even handed out ice cream bars — such a perfect sweet touch to end the day. 🍦✨ Everything was well-organized from hotel pick-up to drop-off. The next day, I joined a Phi Phi Island tour with a different company, and it really made me appreciate how much better this operator was — more systematic, no unnecessary waiting, and overall a much smoother experience. I highly recommend booking with this company if you’re planning island tours in Krabi. 🌴🌊
Koh Hong island trip is more relaxed pace than Phi Phi Island as it go to 3 spots only but all spots r beautiful and different from Phi Phi islands. Hong beach and Lao Lading beach are perfect substitute for Phi Phi Maya bay beach swim since u cannot swim at Maya beach anymore. It is a wooden long boat trip so participant is limited to 10 per boat. Highly recommend this trip for those who want a mote relaxed island tour than Phi Phi.
The tour was very well planned, the first stop was Koh Pakbia (taking pictures and swimming, 50 minutes), then came Lao Lading (taking pictures, swimming and snorkeling) and the third stop was Hong Island with the viewpoint and a wonderful lagoon/beach. We recommend taking good shoes with you to the viewpoint, as it is a 110 meter climb up steep stairs.
