VangVieng Climbing & Ballon Area (Departure from Vangvieng)

Best whole day experience. Worth spending time and money.

I found this trip expensive. The guide first told us wrong itinerary. They charged us so much and not even water was given. He took us to the Para motor, hot air balloon place so late in the evening that we couldn’t even try the para motor. Not recommended. Don’t waste your hard earned money.

The schedule was relaxed and the guide was kind and nice. It was hard to climb to Nam Sai Viewpoint, but it was worth it. Blue Lagoon 3 and Chang Cave were also great places. The temple in Vang Vieng was a place you must visit regardless of whether you want to or not. In fact, I booked the tour thinking that the hot air balloon was included, but I had to book the hot air balloon separately. The entrance fees to each attraction were not included, so I had to calculate them separately, which was a bit inconvenient. In the end, I only paid for the transportation minivan and guide, but I think it was expensive and not very cost-effective. Still, the schedule and course were fine. I think it would have been better to rent a means of transportation on my own.
