Xi'an Imperial Tang Dynasty Banquet Single Meal Experience

dinner is interesting with some of the actors being interactive. the dishes are pretty but please don’t expect it to be a Michelin star restaurant. I like the show thru out the dinner as it has a theme which is good.

the performers truly transported us back into Tang Dynasty and they had multiple interactions with us, diners so it was a truly immersive dining experience

It is recommended to enter early. Free Hanfu costumes are provided (a deposit of ¥500 is required). Makeup is charged separately. It is recommended to choose a seat in the second row near the exit, so that your view is less blocked by pillars and you can see the whole picture without the oppressive feeling of dining in the first row (the first row is very close to the stage, and the performers' feet are right in front of the food. You need to look up to watch the performance while dining, which is really tiring. Although you can interact with the performers up close, it will easily affect the entire viewing and dining process, so it is not recommended to sit in the first row). The food is rich and exquisite, and the performances are lively, just like attending a palace banquet in person. Highly recommended!

very gd experience & value for money w meals & performance. almost like fine dinning experience. the food was exquisite & beautifully plated.

It's worth it, the food tastes good, and the staff are well dressed. It is a great experience to watch the show while eating. The only drawback is that the throne cannot be seen from the second row of seats as the view is blocked by the large pillars. The waiter's response was average, and he only added water and tea after being reminded.

Since we rarely get to experience this, of course we had to choose the first row seats! During the performances, we were completely engrossed, recording videos and taking pictures the entire time, and each time a performance ended, another dish was served, so we barely had time to eat 😅. The timing was a little tight, but the performances were great 👍. Experiencing a palace banquet and taking photos is a very special experience. Entering in Tang Dynasty attire really made you feel like you were immersed in the scene, creating a great atmosphere. It's worth trying and quite fun 🥰!

Food a little each, while eating while watching very busy, but quite novel, originally booked the second row in klook but no space, changed 3/4 row, went and said there is waiting for the second row but to add money, in the end we did not add. This time sitting 4 seats in front of the 4th row exit, feeling ok. However, if you want to enter Chang'an twelve o'clock you have to buy additional tickets.

it’s actually confusing for us when we first arrived. the door is correct but you need to have that proper QRCode to get the service. we were confused as the QRCode didn’t arrive until later. but the ladies there are very helpful, and gives good suggestions.

So much fun to attend this banquet. Very unique concept and the food is great. Actors perform well. Go early to chope better seats as it is first come first serve

The food quality was average, nothing outstanding. The ambiance was nice, and there was a dance performance, but it wasn't worth the high price. It felt more like paying for the atmosphere. It's fine for a one-time experience.
