Had a great time, Kimonos and accessories are fantastic and the hair came out beautiful. Plus we got the photography package, Hank was incredible, the photos came out insane.

I made a reservation at the Fushimi Inari store at 10 a.m. When you arrive, you will be greeted by two store clerks who speak Mandarin. The service attitude is very good. It is a small store with a clean environment. Choose your kimono on the ground floor. The store clerk will give you advice on choosing the color that suits you. After you have selected it, go to the first floor to change. You will be assisted by two other Japanese shop assistants in kimono and hair styling. There are three hairstyles to choose from, and they will match you with a variety of hair accessories, which will make you look beautiful. They also added a lace belt for me for free, and it was all done in less than an hour. I traveled by car and walked to many scenic spots all day long, and returned to the store at 5pm on time. It’s a very worthwhile and unforgettable experience! 🍁👍🍁👍🍁

I’m 6’2” so I was worried the kimonos wouldn’t fit but it was perfect. Had such a great time renting a kimono here. All of the women helping were so nice and helpful. Beautiful kimonos and hairstyles they offer. The lace and details is an extra 550 yen but very worth it. Very close to the Fushimi Inari gates. Would definitely recommend going here. My boyfriend also rented one with the couples package and he lived it too.

Overall experience is positive, I booked couple pack (male+ female) near Fushimi Inari. We arrived around 10:30 and was no one there. I paid extra for hair. Was quite hot in sunny March day, can't imagine doing this in summer. Also female slippers very unstable, be careful. I don't really understand how possible "return in other branch" coz you leave all your clothes in this place. We returned back after 3-4 hours. Mischief managed!

It's reassuring that the staff speaks Chinese! They have an all-you-can-choose accessories plan, and there are many kimono styles available. Adding accessories makes them look gorgeous. The hairstyling is also done very well, with plenty of space for hair ornaments! Wearing it in winter with a scarf (provided by the store) and heat packs keeps you from feeling too cold. It's very close to Fushimi Inari Shrine, less than a 10-minute walk, and Inari Shrine is much easier to walk than Kiyomizu-dera Temple, which is long and steep. The Senbon Torii (thousands of torii gates) are also beautiful, so you can wear a pretty kimono and zori sandals with confidence for photos. There's also a Chiikawa specialty store nearby that's worth checking out. By the way, remember to go to the restroom before putting on the kimono!

Great place to rent Kimono! they are fast and kind. The people there do not speak/understand much English but they are very nice and we were able to communicate with each other just fine! I would not recommend the makeup service for those who like a specific makeup look or certain features as it didnt quite suit me! But may be good for most people. The application was good and quick. The Kimono were beautiful and the same goes for the obi and accessories. We had photos done at Fushimi Inari and the pictures came out great ! Our photographer was very nice and understanding even though we are very awkward at taking pictures. I would definitely recommend the Kimono, hair, and photography services!

Love the photographer, Jin. It was a Saturday and streets were crowded. He knows exactly where to bring us to and the photos were amazing. Photos were processed real quick, we took it in the morning and we got it that night.
