JR EAST PASS

Was able to buy a JR Pass before the price increase. We only got the 5-day pass, but it was more than enough to take us around Iwate, Akita, and Aomori, including our shinkansen trips to and from Tokyo. Definitely worth the price compared to how much we would have spent on individual tickets without the pass.

I managed to buy the JR East 5-day pass on Klook before the price increase. Then, I took the voucher to the JR Service Center at Tokyo Station to exchange it for the physical pass and immediately reserve Shinkansen seats, which was super convenient. Taking just 4 Shinkansen trips already made it worthwhile, and I could ride any JR line within Tokyo city, saving a lot of money. Highly recommended!

Traveling from Tokyo to Aomori, and then back to Tokyo from Aomori; you can ride the JR bus for free, which adds flexibility to your travel plans. This is especially convenient for the Towada Art Center, as the JR bus can accommodate large luggage, making transportation easy. Upon returning to Tokyo, you can reserve the NEX express airport train and freely tap in and out of Tokyo Station, which is convenient for planning your last day of shopping in Tokyo.

the best purchase I ever made. we use this all over Tohoku North Japan. it was amazing that we use shinkansen everytime we go to the one place to another. This is very convenient and less hassle. we can reserve seat. super fast!

Smooth travelling from Narita Airport to Aomori, Kesennuma, Fukushima, Omiya, Yokohama & Tokyo. Bought the 10days pass and it was more worth it buying from Klook as the pricing is more competitive. Took the Pokemin train with the pass too which was fun!

The region where the Shinkansen runs through the prefecture can be used immediately from Narita Airport. You can reserve seats on the Shinkansen and use all JR lines. This trip is very worthwhile for cherry blossom viewing, as the total cost of all train rides is cheaper.

This is my second time purchasing a pass. Departing from Tokyo, I visited Geibikei Gorge in Iwate, the Pokemon Train 🚂, Sendai, Kakunodate in Akita, Aomori, and Morioka. The winter snowscapes were absolutely beautiful! A fulfilling trip to Tohoku. Taking the Narita Express back to the airport from Tokyo was super cost-effective.

Included transportation services: Travel all the way from Tokyo to Aomori. You can conveniently and flexibly reserve tickets at major stations using a machine. JR Bus is also available, which is suitable for visiting the Towada Art Center and Oirase Stream.
